Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful! Got an MOT and took it back for repairs a month later and they told me my brakes were illegal - so clearly hadn't MOT'd properly. When they fixed the repair they damaged another part of my car which cost me thousands. Receptionist man was so rude on the phone. Got towed by the AA there and they tried to say no issue!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Have used the garage for many years and always found the experience brilliant. Recently had a service was kept up to date with what was going on work was completed at the time they advised, as always a happy customer!

Used to be great, but have become very expensive!
Years ago I rated this company very highly, but now they are charge £102 per hour labour, which I think is the highest price for an independent garage in Northampton, others charging around £75, and their mark up on parts they fit is also very high (e.g. 4 glow plugs they quoted £300 and they cost £124 from Euro Car Parts ).
Seven years year ago I owned an import Toyota MPV and I had problems getting it through its MOT, because parts were difficult to get hold of, but Intown and I worked together as a team and we both got the required parts, and they made a hose neither of us could source, and we succeeded in getting it roadworthy again. Now they won't fit customer supplied parts, other than tyres. It seems it is all about profit now and my family and I have stopped using them. 3 customers lost!

Joy ride in your car
I took my car to these to repair through my RAC warranty.
Had the car diagnosed told me it was my injector’s and they will need to replace all six.
Was done under warranty but had to pay a large amount on top as warranty didn’t cover all the cost,
I did this and I picked car up it ran fine for about 3000 mile then the injection went again so took it back they said yep they have sorted it.
But when my car was with them this time I caught the doing a test drive at 80 Mile a hour in a 50 zone.
When I told them this they said prove it so I did I gave them a copy of my tracking system telematics showing how hard they were accelerating and how fast there were going and on what roads.
To which all I got in reply was we have to test drive the car.
I understand test driving a car but doing 80 in a 50 in a customers car to me that is joy riding.
Anyway got the car back I have done 567 Mile and the injection has gone again.
So this time I have took it to a different garage that deals with high performance cars. And understands high performance cars They have now fixed my car and it’s running sweet.
My opinion is stay away from this place as it seems they don’t do all the work you Get billed for and they like to joy ride in you car. If I could give a minus rating on here I would.

Load bill with extras never authorised
Booked my Renaukt Clio in for a "Silver" service MoT and Tracking and was quoted a price including 10% discount. When phoned to say car was ready they said they had done a "Gold" service and had to order in special oil at an outrageous price. The bill was 20% more than the fixed price quote. Avoid
