INTU Boiling Water Taps Reviews 

I have always wanted a hot tap and after a lot of research I decided to use INTU. I spoke to David initially who answered all my questions [I was dithering about a digital one..]and then awaited delivery and installation. The tap etc was delivered very quickly and the installation was carried out by a brilliant installer [Asher] who I would highly recommend to anyone. At the moment I am extremely happy with my tap [its very early days- while writing this review its only been a week]- but I do feel confident that if I had problems [which I did initially when the pump was faulty - no fault of INTU]- they would be helpful and sort it out. We were looking for an alternative to a family members expensive spitting boiling tap. I found the videos on YouTube from David excellent along with the answers from their support to some questions pre purchase.
I did also check on Trustpilot to see recent reviews and was pleased reading through them.
Placed order on a Tuesday night and on Thursday it was delivered. Packaging looked quality to be equally matched by the substantial 4in1 digital pull down tap.
On Friday I had it installed by following the step by step instructions which I think is the only area they could improve upon. This replaced a 3 in 1 mixer tap with filter, so we're very happy that we not only have filtered cold water but the 98C water is filtered although we have now reduced the temp to 95C as it has that flexibility.
Since fitting I have contacted support with a couple of questions and still got a quick response. Really happy with the purchase as it looks really good quality and what's better, the wife is really pleased.

A fantastic tap at a great price. Communication from Intu was quick and their assistance was spot on. I have since recommended this tap to my friends and colleagues and I hope they buy one.

This is my second Intu tap.
I had one for home a couple of years back. The only thing that has gone wrong with it is that some of the LED segments in the display don't work now. I don't really care as I never look at it anyhow.
I had a new one fitted at my office a few days ago.
The installer (arranged via Intu) couldn't have been any friendlier. Service with a beaming smile.
The order process was, as always, blissfully simple.
I had one minor niggle, that the spray from the boiler pipe was a bit erratic.
I emailed in, and within the hour had a detailed reply from David. I followed his instruction and the problem (not really a 'problem') was resolved instantly.
I found the service and support on this occasion was 100% in tandem with the support and service I had when I ordered my home system.
I cannot fault this company in any way, neither can I really fault the product.
Some say it's as good as other pricier, and more well known brands. I genuinely think it;s better by being that bit safer.
What I really love about this system is that the water is at 98% so you don't get the spitting that you get when the water boils in other systems. You absolutely cannot tell the 2 degree difference.
I love the way the hot water drops back into the boiler when you shut off the tap too. That way, you don't get a pipe full of cold water when you ask for hot.
But what I love the most is the service.
For me, it is and always has been exemplary.

Bought our INTU unit in May 2020. Tap is smart and sturdy, overall pleased with look. It has started leaking from the boiler unit which tripped my circuit. Took me a while to realise this was the problem. Reading their glowing customer service reviews is a surprise, my experience is awful. Had to keep chasing and emailing, using online chat. All to get a “I’ll get back to you I’m on my own today”. Still not heard from them. Having unplumbed the unit and taken a look, the internals of the boiler are is an awful state. I’m lucky it was only dripping. It’s rusty and very pitted, god knows what it’s like inside. I would have expected something like this to have lasted longer, it’s back to a good old £20 kettle for me. I could have bought 17 of them for the price I paid. No doubt saved on electricity as well - as these are continually on. Buyer beware with INTU, product quality and customer support are clearly lacking.

The customer service was outstanding. When I had a query, they emailed straight back and then continued to email to check everything was alright. The quality of the tap is of a very high standard. We couldn’t be happier.

Recommended by friends; great to be able to talk to the Technical Director, David, about installing the Boiling Water System who gave great advice and reassurance.
System installed by a local plumber who had experience of installing these types of taps and we were highly delighted with the finished products.

Bought my intu tap and hot water tank z few years ago.....since then, customer service has been fantastic......any queries on how to descale or change an o ring answered promptly either by telephone of message with clear instructions and accompanied by really helpful 'how to' videos.......cant praise this company high enough....keep doing what you do

Not happy so far ordered a in-Stock 4-1 tap and extra filter on the 13th Oct (a Sunday) and expected delivery within a few working days, however, received a call on Tuesday the 15th Oct explaining that the tap is out of stock but expecting stock in on Friday the 18th Oct and would be sent ASAP and that they will add a couple of extra filters for the inconvenience caused. But today the 23rd Oct still no tap or phone calls so had to ring INTU for an update and have now been told once again the the tap is due to arrive an Friday (Déjà vu) 25th Oct and will be sent out 24hr post if this doesn’t happen I have stated that I will cancel the order and go to a competitor… I will update this review once I receive the tap or cancel the order..

update. Tap arrived this morning Sat 26th Oct 🙌 I will continue to update once we move into our new property and have it fitted. Until then 👋🏻

Fab service delivered in 48 hours everything I needed in the box.
I'm a pretty competent DIYer it took me 50 Min start to finish..
And the product is great quailty and all works as it should ...very happy glad I picked this ☺

I can’t praise this Company enough. The experience from first contact to installation was excellent. David helped me identify whether there was sufficient space to install the product and I paid for professional installation as I am no good at diy. The product itself has been great m. You can’t really cost justify the cost of a hot water tap but the convenience of instant hot water for tea/coffee etc outweighs the cost in my book. The tap doesn’t quite reach boiling which I think is a good thing as it doesn’t spit burning water. It’s quite good enough for tea and coffee. I would certainly recommend Intu and would use them again

Other companies should look up to INTU ref. customer service. 5 stars is not enough as far as I am concerned. I ordered and paid for their water filer replacement service. I did not realise that I had ordered the wrong filter until I went to change it. I phoned up and spoke to a very helpful lady who put me through to another chap and I told him what I had done, without a blink of a eye he said that I need a different housing for the filter and said that a new unit would be sent out. It arrived the next day and is now fitted with the filter. You cannot ask for a better service. Thank you.

Purchased the hot water tap about 3 years ago when we had the new kitchen fitted, best thing we bought and looks really stylish. Soooo much easier then boiling the kettle.
Although the tap is out of warranty now every time I contact the company with a question the customer service is A++++++ and have sorted out every query I've had.
When I've ordered replacement filters they arrive within a couple of days.
Would not hesitate to purchase another tap from them.

Installed one of these in our new kitchen and initially worked well. After approx 16 months of use the tank stopped heating. Contacted customer service who were very good and replaced the tank straight away.
This is clearly a company that backs it's products with excellent customer service.
Would have no hesitation in buying again from them.

Excellent service from ordering right through to support with a small issue with the tap. Very helpful team. Don't know how I would get by without my boiling water tap.

Having bought an Intu hot water tap 4 years ago we decided to check mainatenance (being a man I failed to do so when it was installed). Being in a hard water area we found that a flush throuh was advised. I called Intu and Jack was really helpful with advaice which he backed up with an email and full instructions. Great after sales service and our tap works as well as new. Highly recommended

Have owned an into tap for nearly a year now.
Great product and helpful sales and after sales staff. So much time retrieved now hot water is literally on tap. And due the amounts of tea consumed in my household also an energy saver.
