Deceitful staff

Deceitful staff - I went to get a screen protector and they gave me two choices:
Standard @£10
Privacy @ £15

I went for the standard and paid by contactless They didn’t gives a receipt and I did think that was a bit odd but thought nothing of it.
Just checked my account and they charged me £15. THIEVES.
I know it’s not a lot but how many other customers are they scamming? Won’t ever go there again.

Dear Sara,
Thank you for your writing and apologies for the inconvenience. As you clearly said that the staff has mentioned two different price and charged you the price for privacy but served you the standard screen protector. It is a very clear mistake and no matter the size of the amount, we are obliged to offer you the refund of the extra amount in that case.

I have a sincere inquiry to you:
1. Have you tried to contact us when you realized that staff has charged you more than the original price?
2. Have you thought to get in touch with us before made the allegations here? Or just intended to write a review?
3. Have you ever served by our staff with a different price before as well apart from this particular incident?

Based on your description, We strongly believe that in your case was an incident by one of our staff and we are strongly apologizing for that. Please get in touch and we will definitely will sort out the issue in that case. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I went to get a phone cover and a screen protector for my phone from their shop at Westfield, Stratford. The guy seemed friendly and sweet but their was an ulterior motive. I have been getting random pop ups, threatening warnings that my account has been reported and will shut down and links on my phone ever since. I notice that the guy placed my phone on a wireless charger. I spoke to another guy who is having the same experience after visiting Italk and play.

Dear Mr Sanny,
Thank you for taking your time and write a review. First of all, this is a total misconception about our products and services. We are only working with accessories which has nothing to do with your accusation. Sounds like, you are having trouble with some software issues that should be taking care of by a software engineer. But if you are strongly believing that something has done by us then please visit our store to understand the issue broadly and we will totally take care of it.

Unfortunately, we have to take that last part of you review as a false accusation on us, unless you prove that anyone else has same the issues done by us. It is very important to have a good knowledge of the issue (that your device having) before you accused us on something that is completely has nothing to do with us.

We will be looking forward to hear from you soon. Thank you

They will not give refund for faulty items!

This company does not give refunds for faulty items!

I purchased a power bank, and was assured it would have enough power to fully charge my iPhone. When I took it home and tried to charge my phone it only charged 15% before the battery pack ran out of power. Furthermore it dangerously overheated my iPhone. I went back to the store two hours after the purchase and explained this to the salesperson, who told me I needed to fully charge the power bank before using it, I explained to him that I did. Nonetheless I took his advice again, and the same thing happened. So the following day I went back to the store, and told them the item was faulty, they said the item was not faulty and that they had sold it many times. I informed them that they had sold me something which did not perform as they described and therefore under the consumer rights act I was entitled to a full refund. He explained to me that it was company policy to only offer an exchange or credit note, and that refunds were not permitted. If I had known this item would not perform to the description the salesperson had described, I would never have purchased it in the first place. The sales person offered to exchange it for another item, with no chance of a refund, I reluctantly replaced it with another item, which I didn’t even want. By law they should have given me a refund and after writing this review, I will be writing to Westfield Management and trading standards, as on the trading standards website it clearly states that if an item is faulty or not sold to the description of the salesperson, then the customer is entitled to a full refund in 14 days.

Please avoid buying anything electrical from this shop! They will say whatever is necessary to sell a product to you, and once you realise it doesn't actually do what they said, you will be stuck! A better option is to go to Amazon or another store where they have a fair return policy!
