I can't understand how Iris Software get good reviews because my experience with them has been totally negative. They don't reply to emails. Their complaints system sucks. They overcharge. I don't think I've come across a more obdurate bunch of people. Some software companies provide solutions to problems - Iris only add more problems to exiting ones. Might be better off going to TaxPad whose pricing is much clearer.

My experience with this product has been extremely disappointing. I purchased IRIS Elements on the understanding that it would meet my requirements; however, it has proven unsuitable for its intended purpose. Specifically, it does not enable the submission of accounts to HMRC and Companies House, which is a fundamental requirement for my practice.
When I raised this issue with both the sales and customer service teams, neither was able to provide a satisfactory explanation as to why this product is marketed for businesses that require statutory accounts filing. Instead of offering a practical resolution, I was advised to purchase an additional product. Furthermore, I was informed that this new product could not be integrated with the one I had already purchased, resulting in unnecessary additional cost and inconvenience.
For small organisations and accountancy practices, it is essential to have clear, transparent product information so that appropriate purchasing decisions can be made from the outset. Selling software that does not fulfil a key statutory filing requirement, without making this limitation sufficiently clear, is both misleading and frustrating.

Daniel, the agent over the phone was outstanding: quickly spotted the issue and guided me to sort it from my end.
however, the chats before the call were extremely disappointing, i had to keep reporting the issue to discover, after 20 minutes, that i was chatting to a different department (bear in mind that i had selected the right option).

I have been having issues with MTD. Vishal spent two hours going through the issue and then took control of my computer. After another hour, he identified the issue and resolved it fully.
