We had an amazing trip with Itabus in the end of July 2022. We used a bus on our way from Pescara to Bologna and there is nothing to complain about. The bus came on time and we eventually arrived 15 minutes earlier! The seats are comfortable, the price is amazing. Recommended

Very rude customer service

If there is a rate 0 of 5 I won't hesitate to give it to this company.
Technical issues, reservation changes and here we are, the bus is having an issue and they didnt send an alternative one, we are just waiting while our plans get ruined because of the delay, not to mention that the crew are not helpful at all.
And after that the drivers left us without any alternative or response!!! We had to book with another company.
Horrible experience that I will NOT recommend anyone to try.

I am not sure if the bad reviews are from rival companies or was itabus bad when it started ...I took a journey from naples to Rome on 23 July and from the dirt cheap ticket cost to the time taken by the bus to the comfortable interiors and cleaniness...all was great ..I couldn't find even a single fault ...we usually use flixbus in Europe but this was cheaper and better than that

There was an experience with Itabus, and I would never travel it again. We've booked tickets online for 70 euro, left our contacts. When we arrived on time we saw the bus leaving ! The driver didn't make any attempts to keep in touch with us though there was a phone number, email and all required information. It was a night trip so we had to spend a night outside.. Afterwards they wrote that there is no refund and wished me luck. Moreover if you look for cheap prices never trust the price you see first. It will rise immediately when you start your booking. To sum up I've always been traveling with Flixbus and there was no problems like we had with Itabus. Flixbus always cares about customers. It was a great mistake to choose Itabus

It's a scam, avoid this.

We are so disappointed. Me and my family was about to board the bus when the driver told us we can’t come in because we don’t have the “right masks” he said we can only come in with the masks that stand out. We had our ordinary masks on but they w where not right. We couldn’t board the bus as he said we can’t go in. The bus departs in 19 minutes and we can’t get in. There are no shops, we are at a bus station!!! My daughter then quickly ran and just started looking where she can get these special masks. This is discussing. We bought tickets and at no place there was said we need special kind of masks. How can they not let you in?

Starting with how rude the driver was (very rude)
He made us wear the heaviest mask KN 95 while he let some other people wear the normal one.

He talked in a very rude way to passengers and kept snapping his fingers when he wants to talk to someone.

In the way to milan he stopped at Serrvalle Scrivia front of starbucks to drop off some people, when I asked him is there time I can go to Starbucks he said no we will move now (wasn’t looking at me when he was talking there was a lady translating what he is saying) but he moved after 15 min.

The AC wasn’t working and it’s so hot out there.

The worst ever. Never had a bad experience like this before. They were late but not only that, they showed the delay will be this minutes and that we will wait from this time to this time. Not only they showed up like 25 minutes before that time, and just waited 5 mins and went a way which made us lose the bus but they were really incompetent on the phone service also. From what other reviews says is that they also are always always late. So, just dont use it if you dont want your day ruined

Horrible, if I could I would give u negative stars, what a shambles of a company. Saying we in particular need FPP2 masks, while you let people without any masks on board.

Autobus was late, dirty, and full of sickly people. It frankly sounded like an hospital, with all the coughing and sneezing and dad-noises.

Masks apparently are optional, as there was NO ENFORCEMENT, except at the moment you step in, where you’re greeted with an “je serve ‘a mascherina” and that’s it.

Staff refuses to speak any language other than Italian. I understand that you can’t force people to speak any other language, but priority should be given to customer satisfaction and to ease them into their destination, and not leaving them puzzled about your half-barked broken Italian dialect.

It was 45 minutes late. The driver only spoke italian to avoid complains.

Travelled to Parma from Rome Tiburtina and everything went well. It was comfortable, I travelled overnight with my 5 yr old and she enjoyed it. Bus also left the station on time and arrived in Parma 10mins earlier than scheduled. The major take was i only paid €8.99+€1.99 to the front seats on a double decker. It would have been perfect for a day trip.

I would recommend the overnight trip via Itabus than an intercity train. Safety wise I think it is better.

The only negative part about travelling overnight here in Italy is people keep talking on their phones with loud voices. I tried several times before travelling in overnight buses in Austria and Germany and people kind of respected the fact that others were sleeping

The bus arrived on time and was very comfortable. FFP2 masks are required and everyone who’s not wearing them are denied boarding, but we were informed by e-mail prior to the trip that FFP2 mask use was mandatory. Prices are crazy low. 10/10 very much recommend Itabus for trips around Italy.

At the time was in the right place and the ride was confortable and nice.

This is the worst experience ever. They cancelled my trip from Verona 19.06.2022 on 6 pm at 18.06.2022. And changed the trip day to 20.06 I didn’t that accomodation reservation for another night. When i called and said i did not except the change they offered a refund cause apperently customer service can not change the offer for you. So i had to py the difference. The offered the refund voucher for what i paid earlier, but it did not work!!! So I had to buy a totally new tocket and the ticket price changed in 15 minutes from 17 eur to 27 eur and then to 31 eur. So i lost 45 eur in general!!! Now the support in unreachable! This is the leas relaiable bus compny ever whith the worst customer service!!

We booked a bus from Rome to Naples for 7:15. The bus never showed up. The bus that was supposed to arrive later (7:30) never came either. We tried to get paid back but the company won’t do it. All the staff did was telling us that the bus was late. We waited for more than an hour for nothing. This is a scam, take another company!!

Overnight bus. We booked a seat at the top where there was more legroom because my boyfriend is over 6 foot tall. They put him downstairs in a seat that he hadn't booked and had barely any room. As you would expect, he was unable to sleep well the entire journey and it was overall a very unpleasant experience. There's a lack of customer service and satisfaction in the way the company is run. Never again!!
