The bus arrived an hour late.

Although the firs time I used them the bus was one hour late, the following three times every was fine. It's cheap and comfortable and I found the night buses a convenient way to save time travelling.

The bus service is so bad bad and bad

The bus service is so bad. It's has no time scenes. My bus was at 10.30 but it's come at 13.30 after 3 hours later than i call customer service office to know why its to late he to come he talk with me so badly.The customer service officer has no manner to talk with the customer.

bus arrived in late like 30min

bus arrived in late like 30min, staff didn’t was so helpful for person in need with luggage also very rude staff. All trip from Turin to Bergamo was a high toilet smell, since we had top chairs was near the toilet. The good thing was the seats, very comfortable.

Worse than walking on bare foot towards your destination.

Absolute trash. The driver was very very angry and indifferent. We got stuck after 40 minutes between turin and milan, the guy was happy af when he got us to get inside the stopped bus despite the insane heat. Would never choose them again. They called their "car support service" which knew nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They're not a bus company. They're more useful as minced meat.

Horrific experience

Horrific experience. Two and a half hours late on the bus from Florence to Rome (it should have arrived in Florence at 18:50 and did so at 21:20). As a result, I missed the train to the airport.

On my last trip i almost died

On my last trip i almoast died from too little oxygen. The buss was filled with people and the driver never turned on the fans over each seat. The company can improve by turning on the fans and not suffocate the passengers . I recommend taking the train instead

DO NOT BUY ITABUS TICKETS

Took a bus from Venice Mestre to Bologna. Bus came 1,5 hours late. The Itabus bus stop isn’t in the central station but on some corner of the street, with no roof. It was pouring rain. I received an email that the bus will be late with a link to track it. Link was not working. Bus staff didn’t care it was pouring rain outside, only one person was scanning tickets while the other one with the scanner was looking around, doing nothing. The wi-fi on the bus was also not working. Only positive thing about my trip was the panoramic seats we bought, they had a nice view. From the top we could also see the bus drivers agressive driving. If I could give it a 0, I would. Do not recommend this company, please try FlixBus instead.

DO NOT buy with Itabus

I am not the type of person to write reviews, but DO NOT buy with Itabus. They have a policy, which I was previously unaware of, saying "We inform you that, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU), there is no compensation in the event of a delay in departure from the terminus of less than 120 minutes." They purposefully come extremely late knowing that they wont refund you because of this policy. I bought a bus ticket, the bus came over a hour late, and by that point I had already bought different transportation.

irresponsible company! trash

I bought a ticket from Milan (lampugnano) to Milan Bergamo where I would have to catch a flight. The bus was scheduled to leave at 7:05 am and I could arrive at the airport at 9 am at the latest. We stayed at the bus stop waiting from 6:50 in the morning until 8:00 and no bus appeared. We ran to a taxi in a desperate attempt to get to the airport and still missed the flight. In short, due to Itabus' irresponsibility, we missed our flight and still spent on rescheduling, taxis and other expenses. I ask that you never use this irresponsible company!!!!

Delayed for 3 hours in the last minute.

Delayed for 3 hours in the last minute.
Imagine with me that you waiting gor the bus in right time and suddenly you knew he will be delayed for 3 hours and destroyed all your plan and make you sleep in bus station when its not safe because all metro are finished.
By the way, you can’t cancel the booking and you can’t change the time, they have all the power and they treat the customers like we are nothing.
Safe yourself and never use itabus.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE. My brother boarded the Rome to Milan bus on the 8th of May 2024. When the bus stopped for a break, he got off the bus to buy some water and snacks, he arrived back to board the bus back after 10 mins but the bus had left him behind. His luggage was also on the bus so all he had were only the clothes on his back and his strap bag. All efforts to get his luggage back had been abortive. He called the customer care lines endlessly and even had to stay in a hotel for about 3 days without any help from Itabus. Apparently, he was on his way from Nigeria to Milan and only took the bus for sightseeing. ITABUS IS TOTALLY USELESS.

Poor service with assisting luggage

Okay so Itabus does have a comfortable seat, airconditioning and Wifi. However, the customer service from the bus staff is appalling. Whilst they are free and standing around when the bus stops, they will refuse to assist you with your luggage. They will watch you as you struggle to put your luggage on the bus and take it off the bus. I thought it was common sense to help all patrons but nonetheless, do not expect this basic service from Itabus.

Share my terrible ITABUS experience…

I want to share my terrible experience from itabus so as not that people do not suffer from similar bad experience.

I bought a ticket from Italy to Rome on 31 May 2024. I choose the 7:15pm bus ticket from trainline app because it was cheap and suitable to my trip schedule. I went the bus terminal, but the bus didn't come on time. I realised the bus was delayed by about 1 hour by help of another Itabus driver. I waited for another 1hour but the bus didn't appear. I only realised the bus was delayed again for more than 1 hour. The bus was delayed more than 2 hours in total. I decided to take another train to go back before 12 am for safety reason. Of course, I read the notification that the ticket I bought was not refundable. I understood the ticket is not refundable when customers want to cancell or change the bus by their reason. It was not by my cause for not riding their bus.

Next day I ask for refund of the ticket and sent complaint by internet. But they replied to me they cannot do refund by some regulation.

I think the rule should be reasonable and fair. ITAbus was not reasonable at all. They did not meet their time table and delayed more than 2 hours, but instead they said they did not do anything wrong. I didn't want to argue for refund with this unreasonable and unfair company. However, I want to share my experience with many other people. I wish they do not be a victim like me.
