Maximum 8 people per cooking class (but usually 2 people) under the supervision of our teacher to work on techniques and Italian recipes from a to z. The Rolling Pin Cooking School welcomes all the foodie lovers or Chefs to a working environment which is dedicated to learning traditional Italian Regional Cuisine: a range of cooking and baking workshops, pasta classes, bread classes, focaccia classes, week cooking courses or three day cooking courses, vegan or vegetarian classes, pizza classes, gelato classes, Italian pastry classes, and many other specialities. Our cooking classes are in English and hands-on, not a demonstration.

I loved this cooking class! I like working with fresh pasta doughs. It's relaxing to work with it and shape it in different ways. In this case, I wanted to learn to make Orecchiette: a semolina pasta shape that doesn’t need a pasta machine and yet it’s still gorgeous. So I asked this special cooking class. The chef taught me step-by-step the process. Firstly we made a snake of dough and cut small portions of it. Secondly we formed those into small balls. With the knife, we placed it over the dough and drag it out at a very slight angle: this made the dough curl. Thirdly we turned it inside-out and the orecchiette was done. The chef taught me how to make a delicious dessert: Castagnaccio made with chestnut flour, orange peel, sugar, raisins, evoo, rosmarine, water. Delicious! I suggest this cooking class because is interesting and completely hands on.
