Apple iTunes for Authors is a clown show run by clowns. You'd think that a company known for making computers would know how to create software that worked like almost every other company. But no. The... See more

Can't cancel the stupid thing

I bought this and spotify as they each offered a free 3 month trial. At the end of the 3 months, I decided to stick with spotify and cancel itunes. I have spent the last 40 minutes clicking around on the website looking for ways to cancel this subscription as I don't even use itunes. It is very difficult to find the link for how to cancel the subsciption. When I did find the link, it didn't work. Funnily enough, all the pages that aim to get you to spend money are working fine.

iTunes poor customer experience

What a shambles trying to get through to iTunes support for tracks I paid for but have now disappeared from my library. The staff try to be helpful and are polite but how can you spend hours on the phone and the problems still not solved? Bear in mind my issue was elevated to the senior staff because the first support team could not solve the problem after an hour on the phone. I arranged another call back, still the issue remains unresolved and the phone kept cutting out even though they were calling me on my landline but because they are calling from abroad this affects the connection and another hour wasted! It is so frustrating I can’t call back because it’s just a massive waste of time and the whole experience wound me right up. My advice is to keep a manual log of all albums and the tracks on the album and the date you purchased it (but whose got time to do all that especially if you have been purchasing music for years)? The other option could be to only purchase music if you choose the unlimited access to tracks for the monthly subscription but I did not want to pay a monthly subscription. At present I feel ripped off and frustrated! For a global company they should be ashamed. 😡

No support from rotten Apple.

I have enjoyed many years of Apple i-tunes until today when an update has denied me access due apparently to missing files and I cannot obtain any support. Ten thousand music tracks in my library destroyed by their incompetence and there is no way of contacting those responsible.

Apple = Robbers

absolutely horrible experience! Apple is nothing but a robber. My son has accidentally made a number of purchases with my iphone and I have received confirmation of the purchases WITHOUT an order number, so it is impossible to cancel them without knowing the serial number. I have also tried to call the customer service and the call does not go through. Robbers!

Apple Itunes is one of those things…

Apple Itunes is one of those things that are so bad that you smile knowing you don't use it. I was buying apple gift cards before i had Itunes account. Everything about this is so confusing. Horrendous interface. Greedy unethical company. They would only let me believe there were only about 75 apps to choose from. I knew there were hundred's of thousands if not more. Bad people run far away.

Customer Service online chat Nil…

Customer Service online chat Nil points. Sure the staff have a disconnect button on their keyboard.
How difficult is it to change a phone number on ITUNES, really its impossible. As they send a verification code to a mobile number you no longer have. With no alternative way of doing it. The code they send to an email not recognise. You have to recover account. Wait 24 hours by which time the process has failed. On line chat state case escalated. Make appointment for call back. Case escalated to an engineer. Give a telephone number out to get update. All the time they haven't done any of it. No trace of escalations. No phone call back. No trace of a complaint. The phone number they give, even though they ask which country you are in, turns out to be in another country. Positive comment for the person who answered the call. She listened and said she will ring back today. Whether that happens, time will tell. 4 days later after getting a new IPOD which I still cannot use. Apparently the only trusted devices are Apple products themselves. The fact you have used ITUNES on a laptop for years, you also have family sharing app on android phone, these are not trusted devices.
Customer service cannot over-ride the system to input a phone number.
I can no longer access music on laptop or phone as I was advised to log out and I no longer have access.
No faith in Apple Customer Service. Think we should have gone with Amazon.

Some business claimed Apple has a deal…

Some business claimed Apple has a deal with The Beatles based on their APPLE REC and DISNEY
hence their macbook has a Mickey glove on their cursor
their Finder is John Lennons profile !

While trying to be a freelance writer, proposed a fiction story to Tim Cook never replied however there after their team stuck their snouts in my macbook, File Vault
After their APPLE TV came out they started using their preinstalled Screen Share App, remotely screen sharing my macbook from their apple store, remotely accessing my keyboard harassing me with death threats, insults, bullying, thought it was teen hackers turns out it might have been apple! They used my friend another writer
for two of their projects, without asking her first!
Their new privacy policy is so unethical they have had film directors some actors PR hacking remotely into their customers macbooks for their script stories!

If you buy a mancbook you have to agree to them accessing your file vault, watching remotely your
Facetime conversations with family, if your a script
writer than your screwed they will steal ideas access
your notes there after denying everything!

BBB hasn't taken this matter seriously. Iv had a bully in my computer giving me death threats, attacking my personal life, humiliating me daily! They have accessed my iphone videos images sms, File Vault despite their claims its encrypted and they respect their clients privacy ! Its dishonest business practices that their millions of macbook users should be aware of!
