Went in to have rectifier alternator…

Went in to have rectifier alternator replaced ( not good for a bike with 4000 miles on it .. when it came back they told me my horn didn’t work ( why didn’t they replace or fix ) just leave me without a horn that was working when I turned up .. next I took it there for an mot , they left me waiting around for ages . I asked what was going on and the told me to take it to the ktm/ Ducati dealer next door as thats what they do and didn’t have anyone free to take it over .. 😡

Poor service

Had my first annual service of the street triple 765 r last week. On collecting the bike was told that the number plate bulb had blown. I asked whether they had replaced the bulb and they said no as they did not carry any spares. I am surprised as this must be a basic item which they should at least keep in stock. They then told me that it would be an MOT failure. Came home and tried to do it myself but the screw is turning on itself and I cannot remove the cover. Not sure what to do now and it would be really silly to take the bike back to a main dealer for a change of bulb!!

Extremely bad service department

I suspect that the sales department get plenty of good reviews but I would not recommend their service department, I have used them twice now and would never go back due to their poor service. They had my bike for 5 weeks and still did not fix the issue, tbh that was not really the problem as I can understand how tricky it is to diagnose issues although you would expect a main dealer to know their product! the biggest issue I had was the lack of info, contradicting information I received about the bike and that it was worked on for 3 hours during the 5 weeks it was there, I was also never called back when leaving messages with colleagues for a call back, when the phone was not answered the voicemail was full, the website contact form was never responded too and lastly I had to pay £250 for the bike to come back with the issue (non starting) still there as the "next step" was to pay £1000 for a major service that still "may not fix the problem". Would you pay £1000 on top of the £250 already paid with no guarantee the issue would be fixed?????? Never going back and will probably not buy a triumph again as I have no confidence they will be able to look after it in the future!

So these guys do great bikes and this…

So these guys do great bikes and this review is not about the bikes. I paid in cash for the bike.....unfortunately days later they could not find the payment in their account. They were unable to tale a debit card payment so I was forced to do a bank transfer. So I turned up to collect the bike a few days later and i was not allowed to take it as they could not find the transsaction on their accounts. So as i wanted to take the bike again I had to pay again for the same bike. Of which I have to say they refunded the price once they finally found the money on their accounts. Now I wouldn't have wrote a negative review if it were just this.

However this bike I bought from them was listed as 1 thing in the ad so I insured it before collecting (as you do). Once I had the actual V5C documents I noticed the description was something different so I had to modify my insurance which changed the quote completely so I had to cancel and incurred a charge. So I called to say well given what I went through and you advertised it incorrectly can you just cover the charge of £60.

The guy I spoke to would hear none of this and would rather I wrote a bad review than accept some of their processes were far from perfect and due to wrong informtaion I actually incurred a charge. So hey all I'm saying if you have cash and you expect to get your bike after you pay for it that is not going to happen. It's 2018 and they have a business account from the stone ages. This is not a rant about the triumph bikes.

And to the guy that would rather me write a bad review about my experience fair play here it is.
