Worst, and most embarrassing credit card I have ever had. I went to a shop to buy some fireworks to celebrate my freinds wedding; and they declined the payment, and are asking me for ID??? SAYING it'd fraud [the ai said this]... Like, excuse me??? Fraud? Who tries to buy £210 worth of sparklers, and othet stuff as fraud? Despite having the card for 1.5 months and using kt for just eat etc, they're asking me for ID?? DESPITE paying back money, and CONNECTING to my bank??? REALLY? PLUS - I don't have ID. if you want to have your card blocked because you wanted to have fun - jaja is definitely the way to go.
And before jaja say anything- I verify my ID using citizens id card. Which just shows my name, Dob, and picture.
Unless jaja removes this obvious unfair lock - I will be escalating to the financial ombudsman, since I don't even have ID.

I just wanted to leave a review because of one customer agent called Sol, who helped me with a issue I was having with a bank transfer. I had spoke to several other agents but he was the who was patient and seemed to care about my query. Thank you 😊

Started with an interest free period with then decent interest rate which has now been doubled after I cleared my balance in full, and I would have given 2 stars but there is an easy to use app, payments are easy to make through app and at a time that is convenient to me, hence 3 stars

Awful company. First card took three weeks to arrive, they wouldn’t change my address before they sent the card to my old address (I tried to change the address the very same day as being accepted) when the card eventually arrived it didn’t even work so had to wait again for another to arrive. Customer services is shockingly bad when you eventually get through to speak to a human. Horrible company would not recommend

Was quite a good card, pretty sure I had an interest rate reductionp at some time.
Now just received an email with an increase of +14% upto 40.? Interest.
Now getting cancelled and paid off.
Never missed a payment, always on time and more than minimum payment always.
Real shame was a pretty handy card to have.
One to avoid in the future as that interest rate will kill you if you spend on it and don't pay in full.

Got an alert from ClearScore I had a preapproved new card eligibility offer and got offered £1000 on Jaja Vanta which was always going to be my next card I had planned to get after Barclaycard Forward. Had an account and an additional £1000 in under ten minutes! Very easy process, app is very sleek and cool looking, simple to use and navigate looking forward to my new card arriving and using it to help boost my credit score - thanks Jaja

Avoid at all costs because their interest rate increases are astronomical. I took out the account through Asda Money with an interest rate of 29.9%. A bit high but manageable. I accepted higher credit limits when offered. The last increase was December 2025. It being Christmas, I stupidly accepted it. March 2026 my statement showed their interest rate had increased to 40.9%. I queried this and was told I was notified, by email, of the increase in December 2025 and given the opportunity to reject it, thus closing the account but paying the credit card off monthly at 29.9%. I never and still haven’t received this email despite JaJa saying I had and rejecting my complaint. I complained again and also complained via Asda Money both to no avail. This morning I received a letter saying my promotional money transfer rate ends on the 8th July and will pay interest on any outstanding balance increasing to 49.6%. Almost 20% more than when I originally took the credit card in March 2025. I’ve never missed a payment and more often than not, have paid before the due payment date. I feel conned, scammed and trapped into accepting higher credit limits for them to collect more money in interest. My last credit increase was the beginning of December, JaJa say they sent the alleged notification of the increase on the 19th December 2025. What a coincidence!

JAJA already had all my biometric info but still required a photo of my driving license (front and back) which has never happened to me after years of using credit cards. The card is also not accepted at places like Tesco where I do my shopping. The same has happened at one or two other places which is quiet embarrassing. Paid off balance and cancelled card.
