After an initial issue with James Removals breaking one of our chairs, resulting in a less favourable review, I am very happy to say that this has now been rectified. James Removals was keen to ensure that our initial dissatisfaction was addressed and has gone on to improve communications. They were in constant contact to ensure that our chair was returned to us safely and that all repair work was completed to the highest standard. The follow-up service was exemplary.

James have moved me twice now and on each occasion the service has been faultless. All the staff from the admin, the people who come round to give you a quote and the guys who do the heavy lifting, are professional, friendly and keep you calm.

They also stored my stuff for 8 years at a really good price which was only raised once in that time! Best in the business in my humble opinion.

My Mum used James Removals to help us pack up and move her into her new home last week.
We opted for the extra service of having someone come to help wrap and pack the day before the move to ensure everything was packed in a manner to ensure no breakages. They provided the boxes, packing tape, paper and bubble wrap and the only 2 breakages incurred in the entire move were the few items we selected to pack and transport ourselves. What could have been a stressful and emotional time was made so easy by Paul who came to help us. He was fantastic and was a much needed calming influence on what could have been a very hectic day.

We were moving from a 4 bedroom house into a large one bedroom flat and we had Paul, Danny and Wayne to help on the move day itself. Not only were they entirely professional but they were also so friendly and went above and beyond making the day very enjoyable too.
The boxes were well labelled and not overfilled. They were expertly packed and that has made it very easy to not only locate things but also to move the boxes around until we get around to unpacking them.

Based on this potentially being one of the most stressful experiences one will ever have James Removal services was worth every penny and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

James Removals have just packed and moved our six bed house and unpacked us into our new home. They were amazing, it took 3 days in total and at 6pm on Monday night 11 men were still there packing, boxing, bubble wrapping and carrying it all. They worked like a well oiled machine. We were so impressed with their professionalism, care, attention to detail, charm and efficiency. On day 4, one of the team arrived on the doorstep with a welcome hamper. They really go above and beyond. We highly recommend them.

They were very happy and extremely helpful.

Really great moving experience. Excellent team all round from initial estimation (Norma was just brilliant, so experienced, knowledgeable and warm) through to the moving team, led by Brian. Adapted well to last minute changes and went out of their way to make everything run smoothly. Unexpected follow up care! Can’t recommend them highly enough.

James Removals were excellent and I would really recommend them. They took charge on the day in a friendly and helpful manner and made our moving day as smooth as it could possibly be.
