I had the normal box and found that…

I had the normal box and found that there are too many overly spiced dishes, which is often the case with diet food. Too much pepper in lots of the dishes, often used to mask the bland taste. Curry and chilli are not to everyone’s taste so it would make sense if these dishes were not included and people could choose them from the pick you own menu selection.
The Lasagne and the Cottage Pie had the most weird colour.

The diet really works

The diet really works. I have tried many things but Jane Plan is the only one I can rely to lose weight with. There is a lot to chose on the menu and the food is very tasty and easy to prepare.
They also reply promptly to any messages and the delivery is prompt.

Your Statutory Rights

I have reported this company to TRADING STANDARDS in London, for FAILING to uphold consumer statutory rights.
This is a disgrace!
You have a right to a refund if the food if not good enough (put it in writing, plus any photos, and any short witness statements to uphold your findings) and also the annulment/cancellation of the contract IF the goods are not of an acceptable standard, or of merchantable quality.
There are ZERO ifs or buts; Jane Plan must adhere to consumer rights and stop prevaricating!
Complain to Trading Standards via the online portal, or ring them, if Jane Plan fail to listen or accept resonsibilty. Cancel the charge order with the bank, or ring your bank to get it cancelled and stop any further charges.

We do offer a 14-day return policy, which allows customers to try up to 5 days’ worth of meals. If you decide the plan is not for you after trying those meals, you can return the remaining meals for a refund, including the 5 days already tried.

We also have a cancel any time policy with no cancellation fees. As our longer-duration plans are offered at a discounted rate, if a plan is cancelled early, we simply ask customers to pay the difference between the discounted plan price and the shorter duration completed, as outlined in our terms and conditions.

We would genuinely welcome the opportunity to review your concerns directly and assist further.

Very successful diet plan for me

Very successful diet plan for me , I’ve lost 20 pounds , food was very tasty and great variety I still have one month to go to get to 28 pound loss which is my target ,thank you so much. Would recommend

Most of the meals are good

Most of the meals are good. However, I specifically said I don’t like pork so I can’t eat 2 of the meals that were sent. The tex mex bean pot is also far too spicy. I am very pleased that I am losing weight.

Delicious, healthy and flexible.

The food is delicious. The plan is flexible and offers a huge range of choice so I could find lovely meals and snacks compatible with my diabetes. I didn’t feel hungry and the weight started steadily reducing. I quickly decided to opt for the 8 month plan which Fatima has efficiently and rapidly set up for me. This is the first eating plan I can see myself sticking with to lose healthily over time as it’s so tasty and sensible.

Not as expected

The food is very tasty but a number of the meals I've tried so far have very little texture/bite and consist mainly of sauce. The pasta dishes are the biggest disappointment as the pasta is really mushy. The rice is fairly soft as well. I've tried adjusting the reheat power/timings too. Perhaps including the rice and pasta as raw ingredients might be better or adding our own.
The soups are, however, delicious.

Don’t know if I will continue past the first month

I’m just at the end of the second week and feel disappointed in the weight loss and the meals are like baby food.

Support Team

Had to contact the support team to change my delivery date a few days before my original date. Was in touch with Lulu and she was able to inform me that my date had been changed, they are very helpful and would do their best to help you.

Nothing wrong with the service etc

Nothing wrong with the service etc, just sadly the meals were without exception unpleasant to eat. Decided to make my own instead for half the price and better quality.

Very stressful trying to return goods

Very stressful trying to return goods, had to organise myself due to 2 failed collection attempts with DHL.
They lacked empathy for my situation and I would never use them again.. no fault with DPD who I used to return the goods.
