Legit but terrible customer service, decline warranties
I ordered about 5x from Japanparts. The site is legit, you will get everything you order, however, they claim ZERO responsibility for warranty.
One of the orders was a rear-quarter window chrome part. It arrived badly packaged and bent, but nevertheless, I correctly installed it (I have a lot of experience in this since I have had old-timer vehicles).
After 3 days, one of the chrome on the driver side started to have dozens of bubbles, but the top part, not the lower glued part! The top, which is clearly a manufacturing error.
I made pictures, sent it to them, after 3 days got a half-baked response about what can cause it (weather, humidity, etc.... thanks for stating the obvious).
Anyway, I insisted, and then after another 2 days they wrote they cannot do anything because the part manufacturer has no warranty and they themselves are unable to verify the claim. Are you kidding me?
Last order I ever made, 60$ straight down the toilet.
