after you book a vacation

after you book a vacation, they contact you and tell you that the prices are actually higher. Communication is disastrous, no one answers the phone. The attitude of the employees is of the lowest quality.

Disappointing Experience

Disappointing Experience

I had the “brilliant” idea to use the services of this travel agency for a vacation, booked online through a system that proudly claims to operate “in real time.” The reality? Pure chaos.

After making the reservation and receiving the automated confirmation, I waited calmly for any follow-up. Nothing. The next day, I finally received an email—not to confirm my booking, but to inform me that the price had changed because, surprise: the room was no longer available. So JEKA’s “real-time” booking system actually means “we’ll see what’s left tomorrow.”

I accepted this first sign of incompetence, though it was already clear that I wasn’t dealing with a professional system, but rather a patched-up excuse for one. I confirmed the email, only to receive yet another message asking me to re-enter all the information I had already provided on their website. Redundant, pointless, exhausting. Still, I complied.

Hours later, I received a phone call from a lady (or as we say here, “a madam with an attitude”) who casually informed me that there were no more seats available. For a moment, I genuinely wondered if I was part of some hidden camera prank.

We started all over again—as if in a bad comedy sketch: new reservation, same info, more confirmations, more waiting. Eventually, I received the invoice and a payment link from the same employee, Ms. Daiana Nae, whose arrogance and self-importance were almost impressive in their intensity.

The payment link? Useless on mobile. It froze and wouldn’t allow me to complete the transaction. I wrote to her, sent screenshots. The result? Zero empathy, zero solutions. Instead, I got a condescending reply telling me that “thousands of clients manage to pay using this link,” so clearly the issue must be with me. She claimed she didn’t want to argue—ironically, no one was trying to, but when you treat clients like fools, you get what you give.

After multiple attempts and wasted nerves, I finally managed to pay. I asked for the flight tickets and hotel confirmation. The reply? I should “be patient,” because their system doesn’t operate in real time. My question: why are you taking people’s money if you can’t deliver the service at the time of purchase? It’s like paying for a movie ticket and being told you’ll get it “sometime after the previews… if seats are still available.”

I was treated with disrespect, exposed to a toxic mix of disorganization, superficiality, and arrogance. I honestly don’t understand how a company that claims to be professional hires people who not only lack basic communication skills, but also show no interest in improving.

And to top it all off, I read the contract they try to sneak in: JEKA assumes absolutely no responsibility for delays, accommodation issues, changes, or any “unforeseen circumstances.” In other words, they take your money, but if anything goes wrong, it’s your problem.

Conclusion? An experience bordering on the absurd. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I strongly recommend avoiding this agency. But if you’re feeling nostalgic for the days when bookings were done by fax and confirmations arrived by carrier pigeon, JEKA Turism is the place for you.
