POPULAR BUT COULD DO BETTER…

I regularly visit their cafe in Carlton park and always impressed by their caring and attentive staff combined with a very nice environment and good section of drinks.
Unfortunately it is a facsimile of every other coffee shop, except perhaps M&S and Soho. with a similar selection of bakes and sandwiches although their soup when available is really good value. On the other hand Toasties and panini’s in particular have minimum/little filling and they need to change suppliers.
However it remains convenient and generally a good place to visit especially when Fosse Park is inaccessible.

Went to jennos at brocks hill in oadby - so so

Went to jennos at brocks hill in oadby. It doesnt have the cared for atmosphere is used to have. Prices slowly creeping up. The disabled toilet is a disgrace and has been so for at least 2 months (leaking tap and mud everywhere) I know the council is responsible for its upkeep but you would think the management would be on to it like a shot. Cobwebs in the corners of the windows. The drinks vary wildly depending on who makes them. Sometimes they are not that hot. Hey ho as long as they are making money.

Jenno's- Everard Meadows

Very busy, but we still found a table inside. The coffee was good, however the scones were dry and hard. We'll go back for the coffee and eat something else!

Perfect coffee shop

Went to the coffee shop based at Everards Park. Absolutely fab coffee shop which has become a firm favourite. Even better, it's a family owned business.

The shop serves hot and cold drinks and food and has indoor and outdoor seating. They also have lots of veggie and vegan options (plant based milks/ vegan cakes etc). Lots of child friendly drink options too like juices and squash etc.

In addition, the staff are always lovely and welcoming. It's very popular so there's often a queue, but the staff are really efficient so it goes down quickly and the food and drinks are well worth the wait.

Well worth a visit! Also lots of lovely walks around the meadow and canal nearby.
