FOOD POISON AS A EMPLOYEE Section 303 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the Act) provides penalties for persons who violate certain provisions of the Act. Section 303, paragraph (c) of the Act states that no person shall be subject to the penalties of subsection (a)(1) for having received, or proffered delivery of, adulterated or misbranded food additives if he has established a good faith guarantee from whom he received the articles. This paragraph was included in the 1958 amendments to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and remains the legal basis for the "letter of guaranty" supplied by many manufacturers to their clients. Title 21 CFR 7.12 Guaranty and Title 21 CFR 7.13 Suggested Forms of Guaranty, provide example language for such a letter of guarantee.

literally tasted like death

literally tasted like death. They didn't give me what i asked for, it was just bread and like 2 slices of salami. Felt like it permanently damaged my tastebuds. It took FOREVER to get here and was absolutely awful. I would never ever in a million years order or even think of ordering this place again. I hate Jimmy Johns.

If you are a fast foodie

If you are a fast foodie, it might be OK. Our cards were stacked against us because we eat at home for the most part and don't enjoy restaurant quality food.

Stolen money

If I could give it zero I would, I ordered, they said they had a company driver and then sent it out by door dash, which delivered to an unknown house when I called to ask where it was after 45 min they said it was delivered and refused to remake or refund me. They are thieves.

Stale Bread

Visited Jimmy John's on Cross Timbers Rd. Our Order Taker "Tyler" was friendly & welcoming; hubby and I were disappointed. Our bread tasted somewhat stale, and the bread ends were hard. At that time of the day 5:30 PM, one would think they would have fresher bread cooked during dinner hours. My Pepe sandwich (ham & cheese w/vegetables) were OK, hubby said his toasted meat sandwich wasn't. Bread was even harder than mines! Disappointing experience for both of us.

On April 11, 2025, I had one of the most disturbing customer service experiences of my life at this Jimmy John’s location on 39th & Broadway.

From the drive-thru to walking inside, I was disrespected, rushed, yelled at, and then verbally threatened by multiple employees—including one who used profanity and racial slurs in front of my family and child. Another employee aggressively confronted me, slamming things and acting like he wanted to fight me. The manager on duty admitted it was “unprofessional” but did nothing meaningful to stop it.

I called the store the next day hoping for accountability. Instead, another manager mocked me, denied everything, told me “I don’t see color, y’all do,” and hung up on me multiple times.

This isn’t just bad service—it was racism, profiling, and verbal assault. I’ve filed an official complaint and am sharing my story publicly. I won’t be back, and I urge others to avoid this location until serious changes are made.

Ask to see the security footage from 4/11/25 around 6:58 PM if you don’t believe me.

I received a voicemail from Jake a…

I received a voicemail from Jake a couple of months ago for an interview the next day at 1:00. I called back and left a message asking for the address. Jake texted me the address as 537 Broadway. I showed up to Broadway St and found there is no such address.
I looked up on the internet and saw there is a store at 537 Cross St. This store was closed about 2 years ago but has reopened.
I called the customer service number and talked to Carly and was a mess.
Carly told me she couldn't do anything for me.
Her supervisor, Christina was worse. She saw no problem with Jake giving me the wrong address. Even though it was 10 miles from the store and she couldn't explain how anyone could misspell Cross as Broadway.
I told her I had filled out an online complaint form. When she looked it up she asked for my name. When she opened the complaint she told me that I pronounced my name incorrectly. Is she that stupid??!!
According to the customer service representatives when you call them your complaint doesn't go anywhere beyond them. I was told by the supervisor that I will never talk to anyone higher up than her.
This store needs to be shut down.
When I called human resources I was transferred to a company in a foreign country where the employees barely speak English and definitely DON'T comprehend English!!
When you place a complaint online it says you will be contacted in less than 48 hours. Total lie!!!!
They don't care!!!!
Constant calls and emails to Jimmy John's and Inspire (company that owns Jimmy John's) have been ignored.

Thank you, Jesse!

We ordered sandwiches today under the names "Bruce Wayne (Not Batman)" and "Time Drake (Not Robin)". Our delivery driver, Jesse, played along with us, texting "Master Wayne, your sandwiches have arrived" once the our order was left at the door and continued the bit in subsequent texts. This interaction was so awesome and really made our day. Thank you so much Jesse -- er, Mr. Pennyworth I mean -- God Bless!

I am sick and tired of JJ lousy web…

I am sick and tired of JJ lousy web site. After years of use, the last hand full of times, the web site won’t work. Tired of reloading page and submitting data over and over. You have lost a lot of my business, and maybe for good. No, I will not contact the store for you. Go out of business, serves you right!

Received a 50% reward today but had trouble with app

Received a 50% reward today. Had trouble with the
app but Jessica the manager pointed out that she would honor it with my phone number.

This was not a pulling teeth incident, but Jessica jumped in when I was a the cash register and made the move fast, swift and in a hurry to accomodate me.

Wild animal killer

I won’t eat at JJ’s because the owner of the company takes his profits and goes to Africa to kill big game and he brags about killing those beautiful animals for sport. Be selective how you choose to spend your money folks..

Ordered the chicken jalapeño ranch wrap…

Ordered the chicken jalapeño ranch wrap and they bring me everything on it I had requested but it was missing one thing chicken (no chicken in the wrap at all) order from them most of the time while working and it has been horrible experience the last 3 times. I keep saying it was a mistake, and things happen but the 3rd time is a charm.they can see on the app how much I have ordered from them, just saying never again!!! Thanks JJ for nothing.

Scottsbluff, NE Location

I used to order from our Scottsbluff, NE store at least once every other week. Love their sandwiches but the service has gotten so bad I will not order delivery from there ever again. Took 2 hours for my sandwich to arrive even though they marked it as delivered after about 45 minutes. Took 3 calls to get through and their big fix for losing my order was we will make a fresh sandwich. We even tried using door dash to alleviate delivery issues but the jimmy johns employees still bring the order and all it does is cost more for the same horrible service.

Jimmy Johns in Amery WI on 4/11/2024 @ 1pm, has the worst delivery man ever, very rude, disrespectful. demanding tips. Telling the costumer better leave a tip next time you order. Maybe this delivery man needs to learn customer service, education. You won't get a tip if you are rude and nasty.

JJ's - Creasy Lane, Lafayette

Good consistent fresh food. A favorite. Always good employees who appear well trained and interested in what they are doing.

One improvement would be to wipe the tables down a little quicker when customers leave. This is an ongoing concern, but minor, as we always return.

I’m done eating Jimmy John’s

My sandwich took 40 minutes to get to my home, I chose for the delivery man to leave it at the door and even gave written instructions to not knock. The delivery man knocked very loudly over and over and woke up people in my home who need rest because they are sick. They didn’t cut the bread in half which I requested, they didn’t have all the ingredients I asked for on my sandwich. This is far from the only time they’ve messed up multiple things in my order. This is not freaky fast delivery and hasn’t been for years. It’s sad that I won’t be ordering from my favorite sandwich place anymore because of their service and delivery issues. This is the Jimmy John’s in Orlando Florida, 3164 E Colonial Dr.
