Terrible company
Terrible company. Took my money and never received my bike. They promised to give me a refund and I am still waiting ! This is a total scam.

I was brave (or stupid - take your choice) enough to be one of the first investors in this project, they were quick to take my money. But since that day, all they have delivered in return are broken promises, excuses, lies and unanswered messages.
I am unsure whether they are incredibly inept business people, or just crooks - I am leaning towards the latter possibility, judging by how they have treated dozens of small investors.
Please do not even think of giving these unscrupulous people a penny, they don't deserve it
Scam company -- goods not delivered. Lost money.
Nigerian Prince from Poland. Absolute scam. They should end up in prison. Lost 2000 pounds. Shame on you!
I can not recommend the product, it's a safety issue that caused serious injuries to a friend while he was riding on the bike. How did it happen? The handlebar rod of this bike dropped down due to an insecure fixation mechanism while we were riding on cobblestones. He on my jivr, and I on his road bike (not an E-bike but a conventional bicycle). Here, the vibrations are very strong, because the JIVR does not have a spring damping system. This can have as a result, that the handlebar lock mechanism becomes loose and the handlebar drops. In the lower position, the handlebar locks in a straight position where one can not control anymore where are you riding. He went to the hospital with a major injury on his left arm and knee. Luckily, it looks like there will be no lasting effects besides scars. Also, thank god, no others were hurt during this accident. This product is dangerous! For you and for others! Stay away from this company, because they will say it's the fault of the user and their product is perfectly safe and reliable when it's not.
PS: I have read the few positive reviews here on Trustpilot, and it seems like they were written by employers of the company in Poland.
buyer beware!
I made the mistake of backing their project on kickstarter 5 years ago.
Today, they decided that they won't fulfil all the kickstarter rewards as promised.
Instead they are asking now for more than double the amount I paid if I still wanted the bike!
Over the years they would make many false promises.
very dishonest
Ordered their bike on Kickstarter and after many years got nothing. Keep away from this company as far as you can. Their word means nothing. There are many other companies that will deliver a working bike for your money. They have not.
As an early backer who has seen plenty of companies with failed crowdfunding, this is definitely the worst. This company has scammed hundreds of people out of thousands of dollars each. The former employees have not been paid their wages. The few bikes that were delivered showed this "innovative" design to be faulty. One lady who paid full price was told to send her faulty bike back, never get anything in response, took them to court, won and Jivr never paid. There are multiple similar judgements against the company. Jivr has ignored the legal judgements that have resulted from its unethical behavior... and many more are to come as evidenced by the treatment of his earliest supporters of Jivr. Check out the comments on their first kickstarter if you want to see some gory details.
In summary, be warned: this is not a company you wan to do business with. Plenty of other bikes that are from legit companies out there.
I am one of the first investors in JIVR; having joined the crowdfunding in 2014. Not only I have never seen the product but they constantly refuse to refund my money after I have entirely lost my faith in the company. No stars!
As a company manager who walks in a suit every day, I wanted a solution that would allow me to get to work quickly and cleanly, avoiding traffic jams, sweat and the need to change.
I searched the Internet and found JIVR Bike, Mando and GoCycle. After an in-depth analysis, I chose JIVR Bike because of its design, no chain and folding model.
A few weeks later the product was delivered to me personally by the president of the company and I started driving from the next day.
I cycled many thousands of kilometers and it was great. I didn't have to do anything, even pump the wheels - I was just riding and I really enjoyed it.
After about 6 months, the pedals turned off, the bike was taken away and returned corrected. Apparently it was one of the disadvantages of Beta models.
Overall I am very satisfied with the product and the field
Since I think the product is epic and I met the company's president personally, at the end of 2016 I decided to join the JIVR team in Krakow (and I'm still in it).
My review covers the period until I was one of the beta users.
I know from myself that an start up is never easy from the first day.
As me and my wife has been fascinated from the Jivr Bikes frome the first time we have seen it, we bought direct 2 of the bikes.
It tooked a bit more time to get it. But that has been fine with us due to the knowledge of start ups.
Finally we got them and we have been very satisfied with it. We use in in the cities and in our Camper Van. As there is no oily chain at the Bikes it is perfect for us to put it folded into the Van without problems of any oily dirt there.
After approx 1 Year using the bikes we found some issues with it during the use.
We contacted Jivr and told them about our problem.
There Service team told us that they have learned also a lot about the bikes during the time of introducing it until today. And that they have already solutions for the issues we had.
We have been very positive surprised about this very quickly answer and service, so Jivr picked up both bikes and send it back after a couple of days, fully updated in perfect conditions.
We want to thank the whole Jivr team and keep our fingers crossed that this great bikes will cover the wolrd.
All the best
S&J

I have had a string of broken promises about when my bike will be delivered to me. They have my money, I don't have my bike. Avoid and go for a more reliable company. The broken promises include:
July 2015
We initially offered you guys late September 2015, but now we're aiming to get the bikes to you by in December 2015.
December 23015
All we need to do is multiply x100 what we've already done and we're confident (100% this time) that the JIVRs will be shipped to you in Q1 2016 (early March). Guaranteed.
May 16
In terms of deliveries to our KS customers, we've got an announcement to make. We'll start shipping to you guys as soon as we kick off deliveries to our non-KS customers. We obviously want to deliver your product to you asap, but also need to be aware of our financial situation (as Leslie outlined), so each batch is going to be split 50/50 between our KS backers and paying customers. We're currently making 80-100 frames a month (and improving every week).
June 2016
The next batch of 50 JIVR | Bikes will be completed by 15th August. As mentioned before, this batch will be split 50/50 between our KS backers and pre-order holders. That means that 25 JIVR | Bikes will be shipped to the first 25 backers (based on the date of your order). Then, each month we will be shipping a batch of 25 bikes to the KS backers.
July 2016
We’ve split KS Backers into 5 batches and each month we will be shipping a batch of 25 bikes. This is a very realistic scenario and it’s extremely unlikely that we won’t meet the deadline this time. There is a chance that we will be able to ship more than 25 bikes monthly, but we really don’t want to keep over-promising.
November 2016
I've learned from the previous updates to not promise anything, unless I'm 100% sure I can deliver on it.
January 2017
Taking all of the above into account, we shall be in a position to ship most of Kickstarter units around turn of Q2/Q3.
May 2017
We'll most likely drive our VAN with the JIVRs on it. Yes, we'll have JIVRs for some of our KS backers!
July 2017
I'm happy to still be able to support the claim made before - out of the 100 JIVRs in production now, we'll be able to ship 30 to you and provide refund to everyone interested by the end of Q3.
Although the entire batch we're making now counts 100 units, we're making those in three mini-batches of ~30 each. 10 of JIVRs from each batch is going to be delivered to our KS backers, starting with the European backers, because of product certification requirements.
The first batch of 30 is going to be produced in July and shipped late July/early August
November 2017
All in all, this should increase our production capacity to about ~300 units/mo, starting from mid-January and significantly increase the chances of shipping your JIVRs in large batches.
It is our intention to have your JIVRs shipped in the first of the large batches, so that we can fulfil the promise we made two year ago.
January 2018
I've informed the team that KS units are our priority.
January 2018
Q2 is when KS JIVRs will most likely be shipped and this time neither funding nor production capacity should stop us.
February 2018
Furthermore, we are ramping up production to bring you the final and polished version of the JIVR Bike in Q2 2018.
March 2018
We are still on schedule to ship your JIVR in Q2.
May 2018
In others news, we are still on track to start shipping in Q2.
June 2018
Our first JIVR deliveries will be shipped in July, with our early Kickstarter backers getting their bikes about two weeks from now.
August 2018
We expect all refunds to be settled by mid-September.
September 2018
We’re preparing a shipment that will go out to Canada by air tomorrow. Another two bikes will follow in the first or second week of October at the latest
October 2018
Regarding bike deliveries, we intend to ship to everyone up to the twentieth slot in our list of shipments by the end of this year. This would mean that, by the end of Q4 2018, about twenty percent of all ordered bikes will be delivered and about fifty percent of all pledges to backers will have been fulfilled.
For those of you in positions twenty-one and higher on the bike order list, a delivery date will be set in the beginning of 2019 and all remaining bikes should be delivered by Q2 2019.
December 2018
For those of you still waiting for your JIVR Bike, the Seedrs campaign is an opportunity for us to accelerate the process and move production times forward. While I’m not in a position to be more specific regarding production and shipping dates, I can say with certainty that a successful campaign will mean faster delivery times.
Febuary 2019
Currently, fulfilling the remaining pledges and completing any outstanding refunds from our Kickstarter campaign are priorities for us. We are still on track to meet our goal of Q2 2019 for this.
July 2019
For this reason, we have no choice but to delay all Kickstarter refunds and deliveries until further notice.
