Good understanding of vehicle requirements
The initial sales agent was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. I visited several times before I made a decision, which would have been frustrating I’m sure, but they listened and understood my needs. Unfortunately the were not available when I went to pick the car up, however the business manager took on the role after what seemed like a good handover from the initial agent as they knew my wishes/ wants and worries. Great experience and a lovely car. I’m just waiting on a follow up on the app side of the car which I have been promised…hence only 4 stars for now.

Two weeks ago I booked my Range Rover…
Two weeks ago I booked my Range Rover into Pentland Land Rover Elgin for a major service, including the belt change. Despite hearing negative rumours about the garage, I went ahead as it’s my local Land Rover dealer.
I collected the car two days later and immediately noticed a knocking noise on the drive home. The vehicle was returned to the garage twice, but the issue is still unresolved.
I emailed the garage on two separate occasions and received no response. I’ve since spoken directly to the garage manager, who has stated the problem has nothing to do with their work.
After spending a significant amount of money on a major service, this level of customer service and accountability is extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise others to think twice before using this garage.

Crap dealer
Took our 2 nd landrover back to pentland elgin and guess what they were the most unhelpful staff I've ever come across in all my 50 yrs of driving .after taking out an extended warranty with landrover they came back and wriggled out of it on a technicality this is the 2nd car from this dealer which has given us a big headache so we are finally finished with this crap dealer and also finished with this substandard brand .landrover WAS!!!!!! a brand years ago but now they are definitely bottom of the scrap heep

I completely understand how frustrating this situation must have been. While the repair was ultimately declined by the warranty provider and that decision was outside of our control, I appreciate how disappointing this would have felt and I’m sorry that this left you feeling unsupported by our team in Elgin. That is certainly not the experience we want any customer to have, especially after placing continued trust in both the dealership and the brand.
Your comments regarding the service you received and the impact this has had on your confidence in us are taken seriously. Feedback like this is important, and it will be reviewed internally so we can reflect on where expectations were not met and how we can improve going forward.
