Used my local Johnson’s Self Service Wash facility to launder and dry a Duvet. Very easy to understand and operate. Opted for the stain remover and sanitiser. Quilt came out lovely, clean and fresh... See more

Paula was amazing with me trying to print some pictures off, easy to talk to and have had a laugh with her! Defo brilliant and Johnson should be proud to have her as their staff member

Tracey, the lady in charge, could not have been more helpful.
Friendly service and assistance makes all the difference.

Wendy is always so welcoming and accommodating even though she is on her own most days and must have so much to do.
Nothing is too much trouble and she does a great job each and every time I visit.
Today I popped in to have 2 shirts pressed and they were beautifully done and ready within an hour ... thank you Wendy

I took 12 items to the dry cleaning service at the Glasgow Buchanan Galleries John Lewis location. When I got them back, 9 of the items still had visible stains and looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned at all. I returned them to be redone, but they came back with the stains still there—and one pair of trousers even had the stitching come undone. In the end, I had to use Vanish gel and a scrub brush to clean the items myself. The staff at John Lewis were very pleasant, but as a student, I was disappointed to spend so much money on a service I ended up having to do myself.

I went into Sainsbury’s in woolton , Liverpool to get a battery for my car key, couldn’t find the battery so when I was walking out I noticed that Johnson’s do car key batteries so went over with my already opened key to fit the battery ( had opened it to check which battery I needed) so woman behind the desk flipped my battery out to see the number… put the old battery back in and gave me a new battery (£5)
I tried to get my battery out of key and it wouldnt come out so asked the lady to just flip it out for me with her tool with the response “ if I do the it’ll cost a lot of money “ 🤦🏻♀️ absolutely gobsmacked … won’t be going there ever again !!

My husband put in an expensive velvet dress to the Straiton Edinburgh branch. On checking the dress the woman pointed out some stains and that the hem was down. My husband agreed these and paid for a dry clean and for the hem to be put up. On getting the dress back there was a clear iron mark on the back of it. On returning it was denied that an iron had been anywhere near the dress. Latterly one of the ladies in the shop admitted that a trainee had worked on the dress but had been closely supervised. The impression my husband got was that they couldn’t do anything to help and frankly they couldn’t have cared less. Asked that we wait for the woman who took the dress in to be back at work. Given the intransigence experienced, there was no point to that. People in these jobs should care about people having a great service, they don’t. Avoid this firm if you can. We certainly won’t be back. Disgraceful service.

A great cleaners, and what an absolutely lovely team. Lynn and Jill always have a warm welcome and a smile for their customers and always go above and beyond with their service, that’s why I come back again and again.

Do not ever use their service. They will blame customers for their own mistakes and ruin your clothes. Unfortunately my clothes can not be bought again as their were limited edition. Don’t EVER use them. Especially as a regular customer I feel really sad to not get any refund, when they have made the mistake.

I would like to thank the young man, in Johnson’s Newcastle under Lyme, on Friday 11th of April, who helped me to print off my photos . He was patient and kind, a pleasure to talk to him. Please pass on my thanks . Linda

WORST DRYCLEANERS EVER, DO NOT GO, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Brought my Burberry suede jacket and ballgown worth over £400 to be cleaned and both came back ruined with marks on the jacket and the zip broken, and the dye having been made to run on the dress. They did not give me a refund even for the "cleaning service" and suggested I take it up with customer care, having produced a supposed report which claimed it wasn't their fault with dubious reasoning. Customer "care" then refused to give any compensation despite evidence from the manufacturers that both products were up to manufacturing standards, and said they would only give a refund with a report from one specific third party dry-cleaning analysers which would cost over £250, evidently to deter people from making claims. Shocking cleaning service provided and even more appalling customer service, save your money and your clothes and go to a respectable company.

I went today tues to collect it - all I can say I was very pleased with the result colours came back very vibrant & fresh. The assistant that worked there was very friendly ( wish I took her name ! ) please say thankyou to her.

Dear Chloe,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
I am aware that Johnson’s consider the shrinkage to my blinds to be reasonable. However, the shrinkage of 7cm has rendered the blinds unusable. The outcome speaks for itself.
Your report is also flawed. It refers to measurements that do not tally with the original measurements provided by the makers. The measurements in the report appear to be the measurements of the shrunk blinds- not even the “rough and ready” measurements taken in store to assess price.
I am disappointed by the failure to acknowledge the photos supplied to your customer care team showing the extent of the damage.
I am in contact with the manufacturer of the fabric with a view to identifying a truly independent expert to commission a report. However, given the extent of the shrinkage (the outcome speaks for itself) I feel very disappointed to be forced by you to do this.
I’d also point out that I HAVE been in correspondence with your customer care team who have consistently replied selectively to my points, ignoring the fact that the blinds are ruined and not commenting on the photos.
Kind regards,
Diane Matthews

Ruined my coat completely. Garment sent back with black stains all over it (not there before the dry clean), all leather belt buckles damaged, cracked and ruined!!
It's brand new designer coat!!!
Don't trust this business. how can someone damage a garment and have the face to send it back like nothing happened at all? Employee of Johnson Cleaners know nothing about garment care???
