Delivery not by jorvik but independent carrier, the trike was adapted to my requirements, trying to get to talk the right person to fix the problem was like trying to book an appointment with a doctor with the receptionist not helping at all, after care needs looking into my reverse not working, don't know if it's me or a problem with trike waiting for call off technician

I can see that Sam, our technician, visited your home to ensure everything was correctly set up and took the time to demonstrate how the tricycle operates. Following this, when you contacted us, our adviser also attempted to guide you through using the reverse function, as it appeared it may not have been operated correctly by yourself.
I understand that you requested a further technician call, which the adviser immediately actioned; Terry has since tried to contact you on three occasions , eventually reaching you but you advised him you was to busy to talk.
We are, of course, here to help and would be very happy to assist you further. If you could let us know a convenient time or provide an alternative contact number, Terry will gladly try again to talk you through the reverse function and ensure everything is working as expected.

Choosing my Jorvik tricycle
I went for a trial ride on Jorvik tricycles at the Southampton/Eastleigh branch yesterday. It has a good selection and I tried several on the indoor track there. The salesman, Jake, was very knowledgeable and professional and extremely patient! The range is quite extensive with various options and colours.I’m really looking forward to the delivery of my chosen tricycle so I can enjoy the freedom of cycling again-having health issues I haven’t been able to ride a 2 wheel bike for some time. I thoroughly recommend anyone thinking of trying one.

My husband and I went to the Jorvik…
My husband and I went to the Jorvik showroom in York to see if it would be possible for me to ride an electric trike. I have been living with a neurological condition for 21 years and have deteriorating mobility, and wanted to find something that would keep me active.
We were welcomed by Sam, who helped me to get into the building and then made us a lovely drink (he makes good tea!) and we sat about 10 minutes while he finished his lunch (we had turned up early for our appointment).
Sam asked about my needs, what I was looking for and then invited me to try a trike that he thought would be suitable for me. I said that I needed a seat with a backrest, and self levelling pedals with stirrups. He fitted these onto a trike before invited me to try it out. I was devastated that I couldn't get onto it - but that didn't phase him - he asked me to re-take my seat and he fitted another (lower) seat. He explained the equipment on the trike and then suggested that I have a go at riding it around the indoor track. I loved it! I hadn't ridden a bike in many years, and this gave me loads of confidence. During the trial every question that we asked was asked was answered fully and in language that we could understand.
I ordered the trike after I had taken time to think about it at home. There was no pressure at all put on me to order it while I was at the showroom.
The trike arrived, but sadly I found there was a fault with the electrics. I called the company, and the following day, Sam came to my home and sorted the problem out by fitting a replacement motor. (It's a 2 hour trip to my home, so I was really impressed!) Sam is a lovely man, patient, caring and clearly very knowledgable about his job. He is an asset to the company - and the company is an asset to Britain. The company cares about its customers and goes the extra mile to ensure that the buyer experience is perfect.
I am looking forward to many miles of happy cycling on my trike. It has really improved my life.

My Trike arrived well packaged. It was easy to assemble. Had a few teething problems with setting up my screen but the team at Yorvic Trikes were very helpful . Got me set up and ready to go . JetE tricycle
I ordered a JetE tricycle from Jorvik during covid without trialling it first (I live in Cornwall). Happily it arrived promptly and was straightforward to assemble. I persevered and after several white knuckle rides gained confidence and can now tackle local tracks and quiet roads to visit the beach or garden centre etc, and make good use of the lovely Camel Trail. The trike feels sturdy and runs well, and when a mudguard strut snapped recently I rang Jorvik and was quickly sent a replacement strut. Riding a tricycle is a great form of exercise (I have Parkinsons) and I would heartily recommend Jorvik.

Buying was easy
First the showroom. All of the trikes they are selling are in an indoor arena and I was encouraged to try out several before one stood out to be the best for me.
Then the people. Terry is clearly a knowledgeable engineer and was able to explain all the details to me, Jake is a physiotherapist and was a great help choosing the right model for me, he was able to organise the paperwork to ensure I bought the trike VAT free.
Excellent quality - sturdy and well built.
I’ve only had it for a week but it’s doing just what I need to improve my fitness and enthusiasm. I have regained my freedom. Well done.

Knowing little about electric trikes we arrived to start and listen to the first lesson read by James ( a genial chap to boot) Nothing was left mystery, explanation flowed , answers given and then the rising lesson. The advantages of Jorvik trike were revealed, the test ride was fantastic, mission accomplished and happily we are now the owners, well the wife is! I had a really good experience with…
I had a really good experience with Jorvik in the Southampton showroom. Jake was kind and patient, despite mini-bollards destroyed due to both my terrible steering and my puppy (who also had a great time). I really like the tricycle after 25 years of driving a car around London - feels much more safe and stable than my Vespa which is a valid consideration at my stage of life. The increasing nightmare of driving a car with 20 mph speed limits and expensive/difficult parking will also be averted. I will be buying one as soon as I get the secure parking sorted out.

Large variety of models available to test and Jake clearly explained the differences. He changed seating and handlebars to show options. Never felt rushed, tried 2/3 options, very impressed. Only negative was complex branding of the different trikes and the lack of visible or sound feedback that an indicator was working when riding. Worthwile visit.

Excellent experience
Jake patiently showed me the range and came up with the most suitable one for me. The bikes themselves are very well engineered but simple to use. It took a while to ride with confidence so it was useful having the riding area at the show room.
