This company has very bad drivers

This company has very bad drivers. I booked in and paid for shipment to Montego Bay. Their policy is outdated; they use private unknown numbers to call before shipping. I missed 3 deliveries due to their incompetence. I travel in 7 days time and have to rebook a pick up for my barrels at the last minute. Very BAD and very sad as I have use them before. The times for pick up are 12.00am to 6:30am and yet when I tried to call the driver back after I saw a private unknown number he said; sorry; I am home now and cannot pick up the barrels. So they finish work before their time; I called back at 3:15am. Very unprofessional.

My boxes and a crate with food stuff…

My boxes and a crate with food stuff were picked up and was supposed to be shipped the following week to Jamaica. I called several times after the supposed sailing date to make payment and was told the thing we're gone and they are waiting for the measurements from the Wearhouse to do the invoice. Two weeks passed and no invoice, I kept calling and call until eventually I was told the items were not shipped. The items missed two sailing dates. Thanks to Kim who sorted it out after I was fuming over the phone. My things should have reached three weeks before the Christmas and they got there days before and they weren't ready for collection until in the new year. When the things were collected all the dry stuff ie flour. rice, oats, pasta etc were full of weevil and had to be thrown away. I contacted Ram Shipping to report what happened and I was asked what is weevil and how they got into my things. I had to keep explaining over and over again letting them know that it happened because of the delay in shipping. All I got was sorry after paying £399 for shipment and they will speak to manager. I will be taking this further and will not ship with JP Ram Shipping ever again after shipping with them for over 10 years

Be more responsible

Didn't appreciate one of your 'drivers' acting like an idiot on the M25 today in the pouring rain. Aggressive driving, forcing cars out of the way. Must have been late for something, possibly for his driving test. Police report filed.

Terrible company !

Hello

I am actually saddened that it is now a couple weeks short of 5 months since my barrel was shift with your company from the uk to jamaica . It is said that my barrel accidentally went to Montserrat , after more than 30 calls to yourself I have still not got anywhere , nobody seems to be telling me what is happening with my barrel and when it is going to be with me .
, Jim Davies has repeatedly failed to answer my calls or return my calls after leaving many messages with colleagues of his . The contents in my barrel are highly valuable and of sentimental value ! .

Do you think it is right to take customers money and not provide the service ?

I will be taking you to court over this!

Stay well away from this company !

This company does everything humanly…

This company does everything humanly possible to explain to customers the shipping process including: quoting in writing, explaining to customers how cargo is priced, what is included in the rate and what is not included in the rate.

They know we are all human and that few people read the small print so they put the most important stuff in BIG BOLD WRITING on the quote.

They are not perfect but they by far and away the best service provider in this field.

Delivery guys call at 3:30am then swear at me...

The guys who came to collect my item were absolutely the most unmannerly individuals that I've came across. Despite the company having delivered the shipping barrel to my property, and being forewarned that my stairs were steep, the guys who came to collect AT 3:40AM said outright that I WAS STUPID to have my items shipped in a single barrel because it wouldn't' be easy to take up the stairs. Then one shouts that if it's heavy he's not taking it and I'll have to do it myself. After a few minutes of ranting the two realised it was easy and casually said "oh it wasn't bad at all"

Whilst the fees for the company were good, I'd rather not have someone wake me at 3 in the morning and swearing at me for something that I already notified them about.

I'll be sending shipments more often but definitely not with this company
