I would never use this company again and will certainly not recommend them. They made many mistakes which they admitted to, these mistakes caused many problems, a great deal of stress and frustration throughout the chain.

Extremely slow. Theyve had all information for 3 months but keep relentlessly coming back with more & more & more queries. Could have asked them in April, but waited until July. Nearly 4 months so far.
Absolute shambles.

I was kept informed throughout, problems were dealt with quickly in a friendly professional manner. Conveyancing can be a stressful and frustrating experience but Louie always remained calm whilst taking my concerns serioulsy.

I've been using JS Law to procced with my property purchase and is been a pleasure to choose them, as all the process was explained in detail to understand (being my first property, I was a bit lost) and quick enough from starting the process to get the keys in my hand (less than 3 months)

Buying a house is one of the most stressful things that you could ever do, Irfaan eased a lot of that stress and made our home buying process smooth and simple. He constantly kept us updated, his communication was great and he always had the time to listen to us and answer our questions. Throughout he process, Irfaan always explained to us what was happening and what we could expect so we was never out of the loop and any bumps in the road were dealt with swiftly. Overall a good company to deal with. Some aspects were a bit daunting but this was not a straightforward sale. Things were held up because this was an lpa sale so a lot of verification of documents needed.

Unfortunately our conveyancer changed in the middle of the process, and there were things that should have been completed before the handover that weren't. This led to some very frustrating catching up to ensure we could exchange and complete in a timely fashion.

I am currently buying a property and it has dragged on and on and on - I put the offer in back in Feb - the property is empty and I have no chain as I sold mine in March and moved out. They have been overly fastidious it seems with details that are not important and as a result I feel so distraught by the process I am considering pulling out - i have sent multiple emails asking them to drop certain enquiries as they are quite frankly petty (this has been checked over by the agents and a lawyer friend) - and certainly NOT a risk to me or the bank.
I do believe I can legally request some points to be dropped if they are not a serious risk to anyone but these emails have so far been ignored. So they may well loose the money from this case as I can't cope any more and might simply withdraw from the whole circus and rent for a year.
Do not use this firm if you are looking to have a smooth journey and move into your new home in less than half a year. The process is not fit for purpose.

Its not been great, i have been helping my frail parent buy her house, they have insisted that i act as a POA for her despite me not needing too. They were happy to deal with me for several months and have now removed me with out telling us how the outstanding actions would be completed. They come across arrogant and unwilling to explain to laymen how and what is needed.

This company failed consistently from the outset. Slow, unresponsive, uncommunicative, hard to get hold of, made several mistakes yet I demonstrated a haughty, impatient attitude from the person assigned to our case.

They said they had sent the contract and transfer forms to me but when I told them I had not received them they admitted that they had sent them to my late mother’s vacant property. That was at best incompetent but turned out to be a lie because the papers never arrived there either.

They then told me my signature on the contract and transfer forms didn’t match the one on my drivers license. I have no idea how they arrived at that conclusion because at that point I had never signed a contract or transfer because they were incapable of sending these docs to the right address.

They told us two weeks before completion that we hadn’t paid their “file opening fee”. This was 3 months after we opened the file with them and we had never been asked for this previously.

I’m not going to bore you with the rest or but I’d avoid this company.

This is review specifically for Laura Cameron at JS Law. Her work was increadible and she was very easy to communicate and updated me promptly that s how every solicitor should work. I had a bad experience with other solicitors at JS Law so if you would work, only work with Laura. My experience with other solicitors showed incompetence being unaware of the case, and not giving me any updates or just ignoring my emails for few days. Thanks to Laura I managed to complete the deal fast and efficiently!

Highly recommended.

We sold & found our new home May BH. We exchanged today. Move in end of July. Just over 2 months.
Such a smooth experience.
Their portal is easy to use, access to everything in one place. The automated notifications are clear & timely. Our solicitor was always available to guide us. Really easy to reach if we needed her. Her communication was friendly, supportive and comprehensive. An absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you.

Very disappointed, recommended by the Estate Agent, obviously they receive a commission for this. We are now 16 weeks into the conveyancing process with no end in sight. Our contact has lost documents, failed to pass on our responses to our buyers solicitors, does not answer the phone or respond to emails, the only way we can get a response is to log a negative response on their portal. We have been passed around from contact to contact and copied in the management team on our emails when our contact has made errors. But still no response from them. They seem to be okay with a straight forward purchase/sale, but anything above that then they can’t manage. Our contact had no idea that i couldn’t send a payment directly to a solicitor, I had to advise her. Our contact was always polite. Personally I wouldn’t recommend them.

JS Law were very professional and helped make the process of selling my property smooth. I would definitely recommend them as the process was all online using an app, which helped to measure the milestones and keep me on track. They were also cost-effective. I was able to complete sale of my property in 8 weeks. Thanks to the brilliant team!

I can’t, fault the service from Louie mills. We had a very stressful sale of my property. Louie didn’t fail to get things done.
