MAJOR inconsistencies throughout the brand ☹️
I don’t know who, how or what their testing is but they need better testing because I have evidently found 3 of their resins to have MAJOR inconsistencies.
I have been using resin for around 6 years so the below isn’t down to inexperience. I’ve had several different types of resin from Apex and they have all had their issues. I’ve had many ruined projects. I am aware that not all resins are the same & may require a little tweaking here & there but too many of my projects have been ruined for one reason or another.
The first one, the deep cast resin, went off really quick and really yellowed in the bottle within a matter of weeks. The second I’ve had issues with was just the standard resin it was a brand new batch and it cured yellow completely ruining a memorial piece for a customer and I got a bad review for it, however my previous bottle was without issue.
The tumbler resin I would rather export it in from America & pay all the charges because Quantum resin looks like bubble wrap on a cup or tumbler or anything I’ve used it with far more often than not and has resulted in more ruined projects!!

Hi Lilyanne,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts — we really appreciate you taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. It sounds like you’ve got a lot of experience working with resin, and we completely understand how frustrating it is when a project doesn’t turn out as expected.
We wish you’d been able to get in touch with us first, as we’d have been more than happy to help troubleshoot and look into the batches for you. Our resins usually receive fantastic feedback from makers and artists, so we’re keen to understand what might have happened here and make sure you get the best possible results. We realise your last order was in January, however if you would still like to email us, we’d love the chance to take a closer look and help get things back on track for you.
