Absolutely terrible company, ordered two items 15 days ago, still haven't received them, have sent 7 emails no response, have phoned only to be put on hold and then hung up on 3 times, absolutely terrible customer service. Avoid at all costs people! Wish i could give zero stars.
I have a few things to say about juvias. The most infuriating thing is that they make the best eyeshadows. Ever. Which is then ruined by poor customer service and this horrible website. So when they said they were coming to the UK I was so happy. Normally I wait until beauty bay gets their stuff or I buy from their US site and ship to a friend. They said they would launch their UK site on a certain date - I thought oh great I can buy the afrique palette as that was the only thing I wanted. Launch date came, the site never launched. For days it didn't. Then out of the blue, I tried again and It was up - NO warning on any social media. And guess what? The afrique palette was out of stock. I was gutted. It was a good price too - £16. I'd had my eye on one of their lipsticks for ages and it was on sale for only £12 - I added to the cart but when I was quoted shipping costs, it came to £7.00! I thought well why is this so high?! It's a UK site and I'm IN the UK! I had a discount code which knocked some money off for me, I wouldn't have bought if I didn't. Anyway, I received tracking and to my surprise, it shipped from the US. It shipped from the US on a UK website. So let's get this straight - they opened a UK site, charged me £7.00 shipping because they're shipping from the US to the UK? I might as well buy from the US site then! I even read a really bad review from another person with this issue saying they got a customs charge after buying from their so called UK website! Completely defeats the point of opening a UK site! Thankfully my order arrived custom charge free as it was one single lipstick. It arrived within over a week... but then the afrique palette restocked. When it went out of stock it said £16 - so people who got their hands on it first bought this for £16. So what did they do when it restocked? They put it up to £20. My discount code still worked so I begrudgingly bought it. Shipping charge came to £8.50 this time which I was really annoyed about. £1.50 more than last time on top of them putting their price up by £4? So this was 2 weeks ago and they only just shipped it. So in total my order will have not arrived in almost a month now as it has to go through US and UK customs. To top it off, I tried to track my order today and their UK website is down - it says launching soon again! I thought to myself, that's the last time I'm ever ordering for their horrendous "UK" website. I went to their US site - which is up and running. They had another lipstick I liked, it was $12 - which in UK money is not £12 but that's what they charge on the UK one. Anyway, I'm lucky enough to have friends in America. So I added to the cart and selected my friends address. First class shipping that only takes 3 days? $3.03. Not even £3 in UK pounds. What a rip off. How can they justify opening a UK site for their customers and then charge £7 - 8.50 shipping because it's not actually shipping from the UK? Yet their US customers get $3.05 shipping charges for first class mail at that?
Update - when I complained via email they ignored me. I commented on their Instagram page AND their support page and was blocked by both of their accounts! Very professional...
