I bought two watches from Kapten & Son and enjoyed them for about 6-8 months until my wife accidentally dropped hers, causing the arm to come loose. I reached out to Kapten & Son and Tazneem Lewis from Urban Supply responded , but despite her attempts to find a local repair service, I was left without assistance. Once she saw the watch was out of warranty, she stopped responding to my emails.
Fast forward to 2025, and I tried contacting them again, only to discover there's still no support for repairs. At R5,000 a watch, I expected much better after-sales service. If you value customer support, I'd recommend steering clear of Kapten & Son. Their lack of repair options and responsiveness has been incredibly disappointing. Save your money for brands that care about their customers!

Fantastic service. Ordering was easy and the delivery was very quick. Buying experience has been piece of cake.
Doing it the right way
Kapten & Son kept me informed about the package and showed a great deal of care and professionalism. The unpacking was an experience on its own with a perfectly preserved bag as a result. I am very pleased with the entire process and am of course also very happy with my new bag!
Bad company
Ordered my bag for the coming trip on the 10th of August. On 20th of August, I still haven't received the bag, so I contacted the customer service. Received the reply 2 days later and asked me if I want a new shipment or refund. I asked for refund as new shipment won't meet my travel date. Since then, I have no reply, no refund, will have to get my credit card company involved, what a bad company, no customer service at all. Will not recommend to anyone or buy it again.

High quality and very practical
I'm surprised how good the quality is! Far exceeds all the bags that I've considered. Also, the layout and design is very practical and well thought out. Will buy again.
Lindby bag is deceivingly small
Bought the Lindby bag in sage green. Very aesthetic and pretty, matches well with the work aesthetic.
Down side: it looks big, but the shape is so wide and impractical I can barely fit a laptop, packed lunch and water bottle in my daily work bag. If I wanted to pack anything extra that day I needed to bring a second tote with me. The zipper struggles to do up if you have anything stacked in the upper part of the bag.
I personally wouldn’t reccomend this bag to anyone as it just looks deceiving how little you can fit. I used to have the standard longchamp bag for work and it carried more than this.
Btw my laptop is 14” and it is just barely too big for the bag.

Very bad customer service - please make sure you read the 1 star reviews before ordering, I wish I did!
I received a faulty bag straight out the box and the customer service has been atrocious.
To begin with, I was sent spare parts to fix the bag myself, which even they weren’t working!
Then instead of being sent a refund or replacement bag, customer services will not do anything until this is returned which you will have to pay for, attach declaration so it can be shipped back. So I’m expected to pay for £100 bag, which received faulty, been told to fix it myself or go out the way to return it. I then would be left without any work bag. Awful customer service and by the sounds of it this happens a lot. Very disappointing as it is a very nice bag but awful customer service and clearly not very well made bags.
