The quality of the songs are terrible, they're cheesy with minimal instrumentation and backup singers, definitely on the cheap. Don't blow this vast opportunity by driving away singers.

The other night I was having some question about a couple songs that are not available in the Karafun catalog. So I typed in Customer Service Karafun and it brought me to this page. It caught my eye that a few people had posted some bad reviews.

I couldn't believe it! I started with Karafun last fall and have become an absolute total fan! I host a party of my karaoke friends every month. We get together, have a 'potluck supper' and sing for hours! And it is rare that we can't locate a song. But more important, it works fantastic, and a couple of times I have needed some tech support and with in a couple hours of me emailing Karafun, I have an complete response. I just don't see the issues that some folks complained about.

Granted, it would be huge to have a managed que of singers, but I have learned how to kind of get around it. But all one needs to do is go to the Sound Choice website and you will be right here with Karafun. $10 a month Karafun and $129 a month for SC, and about a 1/4 of the songs.

The quality of the songs is fantastic and the customer support is top notch. This is my honest, straight forward opinion. If you are not a customer yet, get started, they have it right!

"KaraFun is the most complete karaoke experience.," is how they describe their product... It's not the worst program for karaoke. Having automatically updated servers is nice, but I'm quite sure NO ONE that works for KaraFun has EVER been a karaoke jockey. Imagine if Adobe never had an artist work for them, they would have something like this program. Lots of interesting things, some useful, some useless, and some non-existent. The fact that it doesn't have a singer rotation is proof no one there has been a KJ. And if they come back and say they have, lies. Plain and simple, haha. Oh well, I have to use it at this new bar, no choice, the owner wants me to use his gear, but man I wish I could use my RoxBox instead. That's a real karaoke program with real singer rotation ability. When I emailed customer service about it they said singer rotation isn't something they're going to implement.. HAHAHA! Singer rotation is one of THE most important aspects of a KJ's job! They obviously don't have the professionals in mind, but screw it, we run what we have to in some places, and others we get to run the real programs. Not quite a 1 star but not quite hitting a 3 either. I do like that they have servers that update and don't have to buy all my stuff individually, but I'd rather get my own stuff than deal with a program that can't rotate singers. But this is NOT for professional KJs. Period. Even though they sell "commercial" licenses. DO NOT get it unless you're just using it for the home, I don't see anything wrong with the average person using it there. Plenty of other programs though that are more suited to running a professional show. Cheers.

Do NOT buy this...I specifically purchased a 1 month subscription...(they have a 1 day subscription as well). They charged me a recurring $10 a month for 8 additional months before I realized they were doing it. The only way to contact them is by email. Even though they can view that I had only been on the site for 2 days in the same month they would not give me a refund of any amount. Avoid the headaches and go with a higher quality service. If you think I should have known better, my thought was if they have a one day subscription that common sense says would not be recurrent the one month would be the same.

I am in a group that sings Crooners songs every Wednesday night , and have built my repertoire around the songs that KaraFun has(d) and one day 1/2 of the songs will be gone (like Linda Rondstadt "Crush On You" and a good version of Chatanooga Choo CHoo without s bunch of long instrumental..... what the heck KaraFun?

After reading through the description of what karafun was supposed to be... I downloaded it on my computer and bought a monthly subscription right away. After the first time of opening it I had no problems. After that the second and third time I try to open it it wouldn't even open on my computer. I'm very disappointed. The company is not getting back to me in response to my emails about needing assistance. I have since canceled my membership and I'm hoping for a refund. Give me the consideration that I didn't even get to use the program for a day

Every time I contact Karafun, they are always so fast to respond and friendly. Our company really enjoys working with them all year long.

Scam! Paid for the 2 day pass twice. And after the payment wen through, the app refused to let me log in, kept saying there was something wrong with my login in. Reset pass 4 times. Created a new account, paid again, same thing, on both android and Mac devices

I was starting off on my first time to be a KJ at a local bar. I spent months doing lots of research and came across Karafun. At first I thought the professional version was expensive so I looked for a cheaper competitor. So after trying out the cheaper one I found out you get what you pay for, the music sounded terrible and the song selection was very small and mos songs I wanted to play were not even listed. So then I decided to try Karafun and I can honestly tell you I should have just saved myself some time and started with Karafun. I setup my equipment in garage to practice for the first month but Karafun is so easy to use I was able to use it very well in just a few hours and the rest of the time my friends and I enjoyed using the system. I did my first night at the bar and I have to say it was a amazing and fun night and because of Karafun it made me very successful and made the experience fun and easy plus not to mention your song selection and sound is excellent. I had many people during the night compliment how good the music sounded and that I had all the songs they wanted to sing. Plus I love the feature of adding or removing the lead vocal. I had one girl that wanted to sing summer nights but had no partner and I said no problem I will add the guy vocals and you sing the girl section and she did and loved it!! If your looking for karaoke music and software don't waste your time or money looking anywhere else and just register with Karafun!! Thank you Karafun and I am going to be a loyal customer for a long time!!

Very poor customer service. Syncing the entire Catalog is way to slow for the amount of content being downloaded. Took me the full week to download almost the whole catalog (I didn't get the whole thing before the party). For sure it wasn't my computer or connection or the 2 others I've tried since. I needed it synced so I could work offline which also didn't work, so I had to use my phone as a hotspot for my PC. I complained and they basically said it was probably my fault and that they hoped they answered all my questions... No, they didn't help at all the three times I contacted them.

Been using Karafun for about a year now, great app, had a couple of teething issues but they sorted both out with an instant cure, they know what they are doing, would definitely recommend this app. keep up the good work ! Cycles22

I'm a professional mobile entertainer, recently adding karaoke to my service. I can't afford to by a large catalog, overnight, so I I signed on with PCDJ's Karaoke CloudPro who unfortunately, lost their Sony Music license and the majority of their 10k song catalog. I just stumbled upon Karafun, YESTERDAY, while searching on YouTube. They home price sweet and their professional price for a single system is even sweeter boasting 24k songs that sound GREAT! There is a mobile app AND desktop app that have a great search engine. I'm glad that the songs are available in the U.S. and haven't be limited to only Europe, 'cause now I'm back in the running as a pro-KJ with Karafun!

I've subscribed and used many different karaoke services over the years. Most have been very good in certain aspects but lacked in others whether it was their UI, catalogue, regular updates of songs, etc. KaraFun is by far the best experience available. While you may initially feel the service is expensive, most others I have ended up paying just as much if not more because of the pay per song feature. The selection is fantastic for every generation. Don't settle for a worse experience that barely add and/or upgrade to their services.

I like the catalogue in term of quality and quantity of songs. The interface is well designed. I think it's the best choice for a karaoke party.

I have used Karafun for several days and liked it very much. About 6 days ago it would not load entirely. I've sent 3 emails and have heard nothing from them. I cannot fine a phone number and have been without service and probably am being billed!

Very Happy with this App, we have put many people on to it. We had an Issue with it dropping out and going to the Ipad Home Screen. We emailed Karafun and they fixed it within 5 Days, I was very impressed.

I've been singing for quite a while now on KaraFun and I love it! The quality is good, their windows application is really powerful and the library includes thousands of karaoke songs ready for playback as soon as you know what to sing. Their mobile app is also a killer is you want to throw a party with friends on the go.
