Yes you can buy an extended warranty, but do your really not expect your appliance to last at least 12 months before breaking? Karcher Outlet, not fit for purpose, Absolute rubbish!

Avoid

Please save your money and buy elsewhere. Our most recent purchase, an EWM2 floor mop developed a fault almost immediately after delivery. After prolonged discussions with Customer Services who wanted us to pay for a box to send the faulty item back to them the machine was eventually "repaired" and sent back. The cleaner has now developed the same fault again, no water getting to the rollers and is completely useless. This cleaner, just like our window vac that failed is poor quality and definitely not value for money.

SE4001. Kärcher wet and dry vacuum/ carpet hardwood floor cleaner.

Purchased this item February 2024 and only used twice. It was purchased as refurbished but it arrived new and boxed. Today the item almost caught on fire in my home during normal use’. The motor was sparking and the drum was lighting up fiercely. The service I have (not!) received from the Karcher outlet has so far been very poor. They simply don’t want to know as the item has gone over its warranty period. This item could have easily caused a fire that spread in my home and/or serious injury. Thankfully I turned off the machine just in time as my room filled with smoke. I shall be taking this further. I now have to prove this item was faulty at the time of purchase. I am gaining expert opinion.
Avoid using the Karcher Outlet Store. Very poor Customer service from what I had always thought of as a trusted and reputable brand.

Worst refurbished purchase I have ever…

Worst refurbished purchase I have ever made (WV5 Window Vacuum). The item parts arrived thrown loosely into a torn, damaged, and poorly secured box, with main body parts badly fitted and the fan physically hitting the rotor. They didn’t even bother to turn it on before dispatching it to check the obvious noise, clearly indicating it was faulty. The battery was over 1.5 years old, the unit was unsafe to use, and there was no paperwork or manual. There was clearly zero quality control. Calling this refurbishment is a joke.

They issued a dispatch email notification early on Friday claiming the delivery would arrive within 1 to 2 days, yet they still charged a ridiculous 6 quid for 1kg delivery on a 40 quid product. The courier didn’t even receive the parcel until Tuesday.

What makes this even more shocking is that it was barely 30% cheaper than a brand new unit, yet arrived in a condition that no reputable company would ever allow. The whole experience feels more like a scam than an authorised outlet.

Completely unacceptable and disrespectful to customers. I will never buy from this outlet again.

Very poor durability and no support beyond six months

I purchased a refurbished K5 Power Control pressure washer from Karcher Outlet for £175. It was used only a handful of times and then, after fourteen months, it suffered a loud mechanical failure, refused to switch off properly and then would not power back on at all.

When I contacted Karcher Outlet, the only response was that their six-month warranty had expired and that I should pay for a repair myself. There was no willingness to consider durability or the Consumer Rights Act, which requires goods to last a reasonable length of time even when sold as refurbished.

For a K5, even refurbished, a failure after such limited use is not acceptable and the lack of aftercare has been disappointing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing refurbished units from this outlet.

Looking now at other customer reviews and the number of similar failures reported, I should have looked more closely before buying.

With Karcher Direct offering a five year guarantee on new units, I would not waste money on a refurbished model again.

Bought my K5 from Karcher Outlet online. It got delivered with a broken wheel, probably damaged by the courier, but after 1 email, Karcher Outlet sent me a replacement wheel straight away.

The Karcher K2 did not function as it should of. With the help of JODIE (at Karcheroutlet) I got a full refund. The attitude of Karcher (the official site) was less than one star. I was on the phone for a full 40 minutes and got no where.

Great customer service

So far, excellent customer service. K4 ordered on Friday and delivered on Monday. No original packaging but otherwise machine looks like new. Have yet to test it over a period of time. Had a query over pricing and customer service dealt with it immediately and positively.

K5 failed twice will not fix, now agreed to fix after escalation.

Ordered K5 pressure washer. The power switch failed after 4 months. Item was replaced with no issues. However the replacement has failed after 3 months with the same issue. Karcher outlet will not replace despite the repair was not done correctly.

UPDATE: Escalated issue, and had a call back saying they will replace item and provide a short warranty.

Problem with K4 pressure washer

I purchased a reconditioned K4 pressure washer and the water inlet connection leaked from the onset. I had to send it back and then read the reviews and it seems the K4 is problematic

AVOID at all costs

AVOID at all costs!

Bought a Karcher K4 used once, (7months later used again) now leaking from the control head, went to take it apart, the bolts are so corroded they’re locked on. This unit is an aged unit, definitely not refurbished.

Would never ever recommend this company, warranty expired only 1 month ago. Can’t self repair due to the corrosion inside. Considering legal action due under the reasonable life span law.

Purchased a jet washer

Purchased a jet washer, only used 3 times and failed. Unfortunately for me it was out of its 6 month warranty.
On closer inspection the motor casing bolts were loose and it was leaking some sort of lubricant grease.
Tried speaking to customer service and explained unit didn’t look like it had been refurbished properly” the bolts were all loose”. Customer service were unhelpful and obnoxious to deal with.
Did reach out to the real Karcher and they didn’t have a high opinion of Karcher Outlet either.
Definitely won’t be using Karcher outlet again.

Customer service shocking. Avoid this company

ordered a KV6 window vac in yellow. Sent a white one that was extremely damaged and scratched.

Tried telling me they don't do the yellow one only the white one. Page clearly shows it yellow and black and even in the model information it says yellow and black.

According to customer service refurbished apparently means damaged,

Karcher changed the colour of their indoor range from Yellow to White last year. We apologise that you have been sent the current white window vacuum rather than the older yellow model as ordered.

Refurbished machines are advertised as possibly featuring a cosmetic scuff or scratch, however this cosmetic flaw will have no bearing on the functionality of the machine.

This all seems to be a scam

This all seems to be a scam, you select the product from their comprehensive list of availability, pay and register and wait. Then rather than receive confirmation of anything they then send an email confirming that you as purchaser have cancelled the order! So then you receive the full refund a week after they took your money by deception .
I can only assume the product was never available and this is a process of accepting purchases when there is a match between the order and availability! I thought it was strange how there could be such an apparent stock of just about everything possible.
So I’m happy with the one star as in fairness other online retailers make it very difficult to even receive a refund.
As to why Karcher as a reputable brand wish to be associated with this outlet that uses its name in good faith escapes me.
So if you are considering a purchase be aware that what you read won’t necessarily be correct and hardly inspires anyone to pay up front for a product that may not exist. It’s a good way of generating working capital for free anyway!

Faulty Product Return Process Was Unacceptable

UPDATE:
This has now been resolved with Karcher, who, in light of the difficulties experienced returning the faulty product, agreed to send the replacement straight away. It was disappointing that like so many companies they reacted slightly quicker to a negative Trustpilot review than to my initial complaint. However, I am now satisfied this has been resolved and have added some stars accordingly.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
After receiving a faulty WV6 Window Vac, I am experiencing nothing but difficulty when attempting to return the faulty product using Karcher’s designated return process.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am entitled to a remedy for goods that were faulty at the time of receipt. Additionally, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (commonly referred to as Distance Selling Regulations), it is Karcher’s responsibility as the retailer to ensure that customers were not burdened with unreasonable costs or inconvenience when returning faulty goods.

Their proposed return method via DHL Servicepoint proved entirely impractical. After undertaking a 20-mile round trip to the nearest outlet signposted by DHL, I discovered that it did not handle returns via DHL. This misdirection caused unnecessary cost and inconvenience, which I found wholly unacceptable. While this issue may have been outside Karcher’s direct control, it was irrelevant to me as a customer—my dealings were with Karcher, not DHL.

Given these circumstances, I have requested an alternative return solution that does not impose further inconvenience, delay, or cost upon me. It is not my responsibility to bear the consequences of inaccuracies or inadequacies in Karcher’s returns process. Furthermore, I have already been without a functioning product for an unreasonably long period, which was unacceptable under both UK consumer law and basic customer service standards. I am currently awaiting their response. Would give zero stars if possible.

Absolutely woeful customer service

Absolutely woeful customer service.
I ordered a product and they sent me the wrong item. I called immediately and was told I needed to return it and then they would send a replacement but as it’s so close to Xmas I asked if one could be sent earlier, I was told this would be checked and they would let me know.
Following day I took my return to the shop I was told to for a DHL return only to find out that they don’t accept these types of return. I again called to be told that they would now collect my item but this wouldn’t be until 2nd January, so I asked again if a replacement could be sent sooner and they said they would need to check. I suggested they refund me for the incorrect item and I purchase a replacement to then be told that the product I wanted was out of stock but they would hold some product back for warranty claims so they would check if I could be sent one of these and let me know.
Following day I have still heard nothing so I call again to now be told that they sent the incorrect item in the first place because the item I wanted was out of stock and that they have no idea when it will be available again.
Now I have no product and I have to wait until some time in January for my refund because someone decided it was a good idea to send me something I didn’t order rather than just issuing a refund in the first place.
I seriously am astounded by the incompetence, poor communication and poor service that these guys provide.

Karcher is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. On the 10th of December I ordered a pressure washer and it was a sorry tale of delivery dates not met. Two delivery dates and times given by DHL for which I stayed in for but goods not delivered. Finally took delivery on the 3rd attempt ( again delayed) . Was not happy with service so contacted Karcher to return the goods but they abdicated responsibility claiming the courier was responsible and even said that I would have to pay to send it back. Buyer beware.This review was written after speaking with a operator at Kärcher on the 17 December the review is self-explanatory and karcher as all my details.l think your reply shows to people that when you post the goods you wash your hands of it and blame the delivery company l paid the £6.66 postage to you and now you want me to pay postage to send it back l will say it again buyer beware.

Useless products and useless customer service

My first refurbished K4 machine lasted just over a year and when it died I’ve bought another one with a 12 month warranty. That lasted for two uses. Then it was collected and I was told that A replacement will be sent in 3 to 5 working days. After over a week I rang them and they said that they hadn’t even booked in they collected one and that another one will be sent out in 3 to 5 working days. Don’t buy anything from them they’re useless their customer service is awful and their products break repeatedly
