I purchased a dress that zip was damaged, it couldn’t pull up and got stuck and I did a return and I was told to upload a photo onto website called Seel but they only deal with the transit of the pack... See more

Poor quality and customer services
I ordered a skirt (Forever twill woven maxi skirt) from this designer outlet which looked at first glance beautiful however on closer inspection when it arrived the hem is very poorly finished. In fact if you zoom into the image on the webpage you can clearly see the fault. Now I wonder if the company already knew this and continued to advertise and sell to unsuspecting customers which must be breaching trading standards regulations in some way. I needed an occasion outfit that week and could not send back to await a refund. I contacted customer service and after 3 hours of constant emails they offered me 15% discount, less than the cost of dry cleaning services to attempt to resolve, which it has not. Please do not buy this garment, it is poorly finished and definitely not worth the money, and would further suggest do not buy from Karen Millen as quality control and customer services are also poor.
Customer service awful
Customer service awful. Spent over £250 and they automatically applied a ‘insurance’ to my order which I supposedly should’ve noticed and unticked if I didn’t want it. This combined with insurance and return fees had cost me almost £21 to essentially try on the dresses.
Customer service refused to put me in touch with a manager.
Both citizens advice and my bank have said this is poor practice.
Now having to go through the charge back route to return my money.
I had a bad experience back 5 years ago and decided to put my faith back in the brand. Safe to say it’s still awful.
Bad service
After reading all reviews from Karen Millen I was just about to spend a log of money but review’s where horrendous . I would not dream of spending a penny on here like a scam site . I use. To spend a lot of money at Karen Millen but declined having read reviews . People work hard for there money they don’t care. So I’m just going to remove Karen Millen App
INCREDIBLY ANNOYING COMPANY
INCREDIBLY ANNOYING COMPANY
Incorrect item received ,it took a week before the correct item was sent ,after having to prove by photographic evidence that i had actually received a skirt instead of a jacket! I know i wear glasses but my eyes arent that bad !!
The item had to then be returned before the correct item could be despatched
When the jacket finally arrives, the colour match to the skirt is clearly from a different dyelot and looks awful ~
I am then expected to pay the postage to return this jacket
Dodgy company
The absolute worst company to ever work…
The absolute worst company to ever work with and deal with. Do not buy anything from this company. I ordered a 1000$ coat. It was defective , I returned it. I have been fighting w their I bot operators for 4 months. No refund yet. Cannot reach a human being to talk to. Do not buy from this company
Buyer beware-extra charges long return
Buyer beware - returns take an extraordinary amount of time AND they click this “SEEL” service automatically on checkout which charges you £18 so if you are doing on your phone it is not clear and you get whacked with a charge. It’s just a dodgy practice. BEWARE. The clothes are nice but this is a horrible way to do business
Probably the worst company I have ever…
Probably the worst company I have ever had to deal with-Anyone reading this please don’t bother buying from here if you ever need to return.
5 wks wait for refund for a dress that had all the buttons missing when I received it.
Awful passive aggressive messaging from staff and no complaints number.
It’s a shame as their clothes were lovely but the hassle of returning anything will make me never use them again

AVOID
AVOID! I had ordered here for years now and again! This time I got scammed into the Seel delivery as I was checking out quickly and didn’t see it ticked! Asked to be refunded and NO! Then waiting ages on refund they have withdrawn €10 even though it advertised as €3.50 on top of the €14 seel I paid! All to try on a simply awful quality dress that looks nothing like advertised! Customer service is awful they say I’ve been refunded but I haven’t received a mail or any funds awful company
Awful service, avoid at all costs!!
I made a sizable order with Karen Millen. What I had not realised is that Karen Millen automatically sign you up to Seel worry free delivery plan. The parcel was not delivered and Seel charged me 25.99 for a parcel I never received. I contacted Karen Millen who refused to refund it and took no responsibility for the lack of transparency. Awful service, proceed with caution!
Refund process is misleading
Refund process is misleading. Was charged over £10 per item for return postage after paying £4.99 to receive. Upon enquiring as to what the charge was they had debited from the refund, I as told I had purchased 'insurance' and this was something I had to 'opt out' of or be charged! I used to love this retailer, but from this recent experience I will not be purchasing from them again. £20+ down the drain - Expensive try on experience, for sure !
Be careful on checkout , poor customer service
I ordered a large number of items for my 60th birthday which is next Tuesday , I ordered them last Sunday so 9 days prior and paid £14.99 for annual next day delivery. Unfortunately after 5 days my order has not been processed. I contacted customer service 2 days ago who informed me that I needed to tick next day delivery as well as paying the £14.99 - they have done nothing to speed up my order which has now exceeded their 4 days standard delivery time anyway . I also paid £25 for extra insurance which I hadn’t spotted when I checked out - apparently this is applied automatically and has to be unticked . I asked for this to be refunded as they hadn’t processed my order yet but they refused . Very disappointed in a brand that I previously rated highly .
Refund Overdue Despite Return Delivered Weeks Ago
Very poor experience with refunds.
I returned an order which was delivered back to Karen Millen on 13 March and provided full proof of delivery. I was initially advised that the refund would be processed by 26 March, which did not happen. I then followed up and was asked to wait again until 3 April.
Both deadlines have now passed and I am still waiting for my refund of €334.19.
There has been no proper explanation for the delay, only repeated requests to wait, despite the item being returned and received weeks ago. This is a significant amount of money to be withholding.
I have now had to escalate the matter further.
This used to be my favourite place to shop for over 20 years, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
Very disappointing experience and not what I would expect from this brand.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY
I ordered a dress from Karen Millen which was of poor quality and faulty with missing crystal tiles. I returned the dress on 18th March and have an email confirmation saying it has been received by the retailer. Have been chasing for a refund on their WhatsApp number ever since, we are now 2nd April, just keep going round in circles (must be an AI Bot), they confirmed I would have refund in 15 days. Still no refund and today the WhatsApp message says I have exceeded the returns period. An absolute joke! they also don't have a telephone number. So if you value your time and money, do not order from this company. Feels like I've been scammed!
Cost me £7 to try on 1 item
Ordered a bodysuit size L. The size guide on their website says L is a 14. When the bodysuit arrived and was so big it would just fall off, so I sent it back. This was the only thing I ordered. I spent £4.99 on delivery and then when I sent it back I had to pay another £2 admin fee and the delivery wasn’t refunded. The refund took 2 weeks from when they received it back in the warehouse and essentially it cost me £7 in total to try on a bodysuit which was way bigger than advertised. Awful.
Karen Millen - Awful experience with refund and lost item.
Karen Millen, extremely disappointing and concerning experience.
I have been a loyal Karen Millen customer for years, dating back to the days of your Covent Garden and Bromley stores. I’ve always loved the brand and had only recently started enjoying shopping with you online again which makes this situation even more frustrating.
On 20 January, I returned a Karen Millen taffeta skirt and received confirmation from you that it had been successfully received.
On 29 January, I made a genuine mistake and reused the same returns barcode to send a completely different item — a £150 Ralph Lauren dress, brand new with tags, clearly packaged in a Frasers bag.
Royal Mail tracking shows this parcel was delivered to your warehouse on 31 January. I have full proof.
I contacted your customer service team immediately on 31 January and was told the item would be located and returned to me.
Instead, I spent THREE MONTHS chasing this, sending four emails before I even received a response in March.
Since then, I have repeatedly been told you “do not have the item.”
This simply does not add up:
• The parcel was delivered to your warehouse (proven)
• The item was not a Karen Millen product
• It was brand new, tagged, and in completely different packaging (Frasers)
• You were notified immediately
Yet somehow, it has just “disappeared.”
If this had been a Karen Millen item in that parcel, would there be an issue? I doubt it. It is very hard to understand how the only item you now claim to have no record of is the one that wasn’t yours.
This raises serious concerns about how returns are handled internally and what happens when items are mistakenly sent to your warehouse.
To make matters worse:
• I have now had to pay £150 out of my own pocket for an item that was delivered to you and never returned
• The £38 refund for my original return still has not been processed back to my card
• I have been sent irrelevant responses, including a new returns barcode for an item you already confirmed receiving, which shows my case has not been properly reviewed
After three months of being ignored and fobbed off, I am extremely disappointed.
As a long-standing customer who genuinely liked this brand, this experience has completely changed my view.
If something goes wrong with your return, don’t expect Karen Millen to take responsibility. The last communication I received yesterday stated I should go to Royal Mail to complain. Even though I have the tracking and receipts showing proof of delivery.
I will now be escalating this further. Awful experience.
Terrible company!
I purchased their Premier package after their website clearly advertised free next-day delivery and free returns as part of the membership. However, when I returned the item, £3 was deducted from my refund.
When I queried this, I was told that returns were not included in the Premier package. I checked their website again and found that the same information that persuaded me to purchase was still being advertised. I took a screen recording (which I still have) and submitted it as evidence, yet they continued to refuse a full refund, repeatedly responding with the same useless scripted replies.
After three days of back-and-forth, during which they refused to acknowledge that the package had been mis-sold, I informed them that I would be reporting the matter to the CMA and Trading Standards and requested to speak to a manager. No manager ever contacted me, my message was ignored, and I had to follow up again myself.
I was given the same explanation by other advisors and had to resubmit my evidence. Eventually, they conceded that I was entitled to one free return per order and finally issued a full refund.
The entire experience was unnecessarily difficult. Their refusal to take responsibility or admit their mistake was extremely disappointing, and I have yet to receive any form of apology.
To make matters worse, I returned another item at the end of January. I received confirmation that it had been received and that a refund would be processed, yet now, in April, I am still waiting. Yet another breach of the law!
Based on my experience, this company appears to operate in a way that disregards statutory consumer rights. Save your money and save yourself the aggravation, don’t shop here unless you want to be frustrated and have your blood pressure raised by their incompetent staff.
Late deliveies normal - customer service response a joke
When they say standard delivery in up to 4 working days, the actually mean the won't dispatch our order for at least 4 working das with delivery some time afterwards. For a premium brand packaging is also a cheap plastic bag, no care over the contents at all.
Karen MIllen customer service never bothered to respond, so I contacted Debenhams customer service as they are apparently handling the order. Their joke response was the order is running late (no kidding), hadn;t yet been dispatched and they would help if nothing arrived by 13th April. That's 5 working days, longer than the standard delivery for a new order placed today. I could even order for free next day delivery if I pay the higher price on Debenham's website. The clearly don't want to honour sales prices and would prefer I cancel the order
Still waiting for £450 refund weeks…
Still waiting for £450 refund weeks after returning items
Will not order from them again
Very poor service, how can a well know company like this be so awfully ran…
It’s terrible—orders take way too long…
It’s terrible—orders take way too long to arrive, and if you return something, it’s even worse; they take forever to process returns. I’m currently having trouble with a return: I still haven't received my refund, yet they claim they’ve already sent it. I will never buy anything from them again. So, if you’re planning to make a purchase, keep this in mind: they have nice items, but dealing with them is a total headache. I actually had to contact my credit card company to file a dispute because the merchant claims they never received the return, while Karen Millen insists they’ve already processed it—they just keep repeating the same thing. I honestly think I’m dealing with a computer, not a real person. It’s terrible.
