Having hated my 'pouch' for many years I finally approached Mr Karidis following a friends recommendation.
From the very first point of contact I received outstanding service.
I was extremely nervous about going forward with the procedure, the whole team put me at ease by explaining to me fully what to expect and what would be achieved. I admit the first few days were uncomfortable, but now 5 weeks later I could not be happier. Having followed all the guidance I am virtually back to my full self, without the awful 'pouch'! Both myself and my husband can not believe the difference surgery has made. I can not wait to wear clothes without looking to see if my pouch is visible!
The support from nurse Raquel was amazing, contacting me regularly and genuinely meaning that I could contact her at any time if needed.
Obviously this surgery was not the cheapest, but there are times when you need to invest in excellent service which give outstanding results.

I had a consultation with Dr. Karidis several months ago for a buccal fat pad removal and liposuction. Was looking for a physical refresh for my body and was not sure what would be most beneficial.

Dr Karidis discussed my options and suggested not to do the buccal fat pad removal as it would result in too much hollowness on the face. We discussed liposuction and the areas which would benefit most and recovery timings. He listened to what I wanted to achieve and we talked through what could give me the best results at this point in time. He has a comforting manner and puts you at ease to ask questions and share your wants and worries about such surgeries.

It took me over 6 months to consider and decide on surgery. It’s never a ‘right time’ for surgery hence after coming back with an inquiry on potential date options, I decided for surgery on a Friday, and was able to get into theatre by the following Thursday. (otherwise i would have chickened out!) I worked with Stephen to sort out all of the pre-surgery tests and admissions paperwork quickly and efficiently.

Surgery day went smoothly, admissions was quick at St John & St Elizabeth Hospital, and pre-op discussions took place with Dr Karidis and the nurse overseeing my care Raquel.

I had liposuction on 6 areas and went into surgery at about 11am and out of recovery unit about 3pm. Dr Karidis’ and Rachel provided very clear recovery information and outlining after care for incisions, activities, how long to wear the garments and emergency numbers in case of any issues.

The surgery results were also noticeably positive on the first days and only improved as the swelling went down. Dr Karidis’ incisions were very small and discrete (with some hidden along an old scar line) which have healed and are barely noticeable now 7 weeks after surgery.

The overall experience with Dr Karidis and his team was quite impressive - communication was clear and efficient and I felt well cared for and well informed with access to Raquel at all times during the recovery process.

I am very pleased to have chosen Dr Karidis and his team for my surgery and would happily work with him again if I choose to undergo another such surgery.

I don’t usually write reviews but my experience was so lovely I had to share. I am not stranger to cosmetic surgery and usually Drs will minimize the pain, Dr.Karidis really wasn't minimizing anything he told me exactly what to expect and id never felt so at ease. I was very unsure about the exact ccs I wanted but I had a certain vision in my head, its like Dr.karidis jumped into my mind and took the image out. The hospital was so clean, the staff were lovely including nurse raquel who made me feel I was not alone and she knew what she was doing. I am not 2 week post op and couldntw be happier with the results and how good they look. I would 100% recommend Dr.Karidis and his clinic for any procedure.

I have been attending the Karidis Clinic for about 7 months now as I have the v-beam laser to treat my rosacea. From the offset, Stevie made me feel very comfortable. She gave me all the information I needed, told me all the possible outcomes/ side effects from the laser and made me feel at ease. She is very professional but also makes you feel like a friend. Would highly recommend her services and this clinic to anyone.

I have had the micro needling procedure on my post surgery scars and they are doing great !

I first found out about Karidis through online research. Their website, reviews, and instagram page showed some promising things. When I first reached out I was in touch with their patient coordinator Chloe Mouser. She was extremely professional, knowledgable and prompt in her communication. She immediately made me feel confident that I was dealing with professionals, and that I was going to receive the right care. This was a stark contrast from my experience reaching out to other clinics, where their administration, and communication was far less professional.

Then I proceeded to consult Dr. Mark for my tummy tuck procedure. The Dr. was very knowledgable and answered all of my questions with an open mind. He is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I know that he genuinely cares for me and his other patients. I could also tell that for him, my health and safety and satisfaction with my procedure was his number 1 priority. For example during my previous consultations with other clinics, other Drs suggested that I should do a liposuction, which would incur additional costs, and result in a longer recovery. But Dr. Mark advised against it in my case, because I had very little fat to begin with, and in hindsight he was very right. My tummy is now super flat and I had such an easier recovery without the liposuction done! The Dr. explained to me that performing liposuction on patients who have little fat could result in a rippled skin texture and introduces risks for little to no gain.

On surgery day, I checked in to the hospital of St. John and St. Elizabeth. The hospital is fantastic, I was very comfortable knowing that unlike other clinics, Karidis operates in a hospital so in the rare cases that complications occur, I am already in the right place to receive critical care. Where as in other clinics, you would have to be transported first to a hospital while you are still anesthesized.
The anesthesiologist greeted me in the morning and then I met Dr. Mark one last time before surgery to run through everything and that was a reassuring meeting, because I was very nervous that morning.

After I woke up from my surgery, The nurses made sure that I was comfortable and gave me pain killers when I asked for it. The staff and care at the hospital was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and professional, nurses would regularly come in and check on me to make sure I was doing well and provide me with pain relief if I needed it. Food was also great and the room/bathroom I stayed in was really nice.

The post operative care was also excellent, I had Raquel Antunis, the surgical nurse meet me after surgery and she visited me multiple times during my stay at the hospital to check up on me and run me through what I needed to do post-op to take care of myself. She was so professional, and so compassionate and kind. She really took great care of me and helped me feel at ease, I am so grateful for her. She was also available for me to contact when I was discharged in case I had any questions and she was very reliable when I needed her.

Overall my surgery was really successful, I am so happy that I chose Karidis, their team is excellent, caring and very skilled indeed. I am only one month post op my surgery and I am extremely happy with the result. I would do this over and over again no questions asked. I highly recommend Karidis, and I know Dr. Mark and his team will take great care of you, as they did of me. Thank you Karidis for such an exceptional experience.

I underwent Abdominoplasty and Breast augmentation surgery in October. Dr. Karidis and his team provided me with the best service, starting with appointment booking, consultation, surgery and the aftercare. I would not normally leave a review but in these circumstances I felt compelled to do so.
I visited Stevie at the Karidis clinic with the hope she would be able to correct my very migrated lip filler which was administered at a different clinic not by Kardis.
Stevie was so informative she explained the why the how’s and the remedy to correct my botched prior procedure.
She is very gentle and explains step by step what she is doing. She advised I would need all of the old filler dissolved and would need to
Wait 14 days before she could refill my lips. I returned today for my filler and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. No more migration (trout pout) I have beautiful full natural looking lips. I can not recommend Stevie enough and I am so grateful for her expertise and my final results. Thank you so much ☺️

I saw Dr Karidis for rhinoplasty. I always felt insecure about a bump on my nose.
I cannot express how happy I am with the results 8 months on. Dr Karidis understood straight away what I wanted to achieve and the results are beyond what I expected.

I recently had cosmetic surgery with the karidis clinic as it was recommended highly by a family member. My surgeon was Mr Karidis and throughout the procedure he was very professional, helpful and made me feel very comfortable in the fact I was in safe hands. Raquel, one of my nurses, was absolutely lovely and made me feel so comfortable as well as The team at the clinic also ensured I had lots of support coming up to the surgery and after. The whole experience at Karidis clinic is wonderful, from the booking process through to the aftercare - I’ve been coming here for years, both for rhinoplasty with Mr Karidis and now non-surgical cosmetic procedures with Nurse Stevie. She is very gentle with both Botox and filler application and as someone who isn’t keen on needles, I can honestly say that I barely felt a thing. I am very pleased with the results and feel like I have a natural looking, balanced face which people have been commenting on, saying how well and youthful I am looking! I can highly recommend both the Karidis Clinic and Stevie to everyone.
