Working with Kent Reliance has been brilliant but am now moving most of my money from the ease access account because you have reduced the interest rate - can get 4.5% elsewhere!

I was trying to open a fixed rate bond online which you say takes only ten minutes. It took me about an hour it was very frustrating and I have decided I will not be opening any more accounts with Kent Reliance if they are online only.
When I first started saving with you I was able to speak to a person which made opening an account very easy.

Dreadful, tried to open a 1 year bond, filled the info on-line and received an email to say it was being reviewed, was called and had a 26 minute call left on hold for most of it, advised it was sorted, then another call from the same person wanting more security info, advised id hear within a further 24 hours and zilch. If it’s this hard to put money in I hate to think what is like trying to get money out. Did it eventually another bank, 2 mins on-line sorted and deposit made. Won’t touch Kent Reliance with a barge pole now.

Recently opened a one year bond with Kent Reliance BS. Highly competitive interest rates, and opening account was straightforward. Transactions are almost instant. Up to now I'm very impressed.

Indian call centre have bad lines poor understanding language, and send you out old interest rates.,with new customers getting better rates.its English money earned by English people, controlled by Indian people. Don't think I will ever save with this company again.

Good Afternoon. Oh wow - 1 star should be Nil star....This financial industry needs to be shut down. Complaint after Complaint lodged all upheld in my favour and still they are allowed to continue trading. Just spent another unacceptable timescale on the phone - getting nowhere. 1 acct now closed, Fxd Rate Bond will be closed in Dec26 and finally my association with KRBS will be over, after 16 years. Good-Bye KRBS

I contacted Kent Reliance to request tax statements for my late father’s accounts to enable me to complete an HMRC tax return. I was told that I had to provide a letter of probate so I can close the accounts and then get the Tax statements. That is factually incorrect.
A bank or building society by UK law is required to provide tax statements upon request. Closing the account and probate has nothing to do with this.
Clearly their staff need better training. The person I dealt was pleasant but kept putting me on hold to ask someone else the answer to my questions.
A bit less profit and a bit more training and professionalism wouldn’t go a miss.
Once the accounts are closed I certainly won’t be investing with Kent Reliance.
My advice to potential investors is to think twice before handing over your money. If you have an issue later, don’t expect a speedy resolution if at all.
This is an accurate and honest review of Kent Reliance.

Easy to create an account. The online login process is very simple. Withdrawals and transfers are quicker than several similar independent private banks, it happens in seconds. Email and SMS acknowledgements too.
The website is user friendly

This company gives their customers CHOICE; Real Choice, as to whether they do their investing in person, on-line, via the telephone or by post!
The customer service is excellent - something that many other companies in the financial sector have lost sight of. People really appreciate good customer service & real choice. Just keep doing what you are doing.

Poor service on ISA renewal for me and my wife.
Offered a one year ISA renewal at 4.30%, when 4.41% is also available for a 3 year ISA.
Failed to respond to secure messages.
Rang helpline on 16 April - they promised to move our matured ISAs to the then 4.41% 3 year ISA. Said we would get written confirmation in 5 working days. Still waiting.
The only written confirmation that came on 25 April has been to confirm the 1 year ISA that we didn't want.
The online renewal service is pathetic.
They should take a look at Aldermore Bank to see how it should be done in the run up to a maturity.
Extremely disappointed. Have spent ages getting nowhere. Next step is a formal complaint.

Good product with above average interest - easy set up - solid provider.

Offered inferior interest rate on ISA renewal. 4.30%, when 4.45% is also available.
Poor communication.
No customer loyalty.
Delay in responding to complaints.
Failure to respond to secure on line messages.
Overall, very disappointed with my attempts to renew my maturing ISA.
No choice but to raise a complaint, still awaiting to hear.

My mother passed away and unlike several banks and investment groups that her money was with, KRBS were apparently deliberately slow in releasing her money. They introduced procedures during the process that slowed the process. Even after two weeks of receiving the Grant of Probate and authority to credit the Executors account the money is still withheld. I shall update on this saga as information comes to hand but from current experience would suggest that investors should be very wary of investing with KRBS.
Full details of the client's complaint reference number has been forwarded to KRBS. Their senior executive Ms Kayleigh Payne has been assigned to deal with the case. The final outcome will be published.

I had chosen to use Kent Reliance to receive funds from a maturing ISA held at Virgin Money. I had to call them on 5 occassions and place similar calls to Virgin Money as I kept getting "application being rejected " as the Kent Reliance updates. Virgin advised no applications had been received, so this morning after spending about 2hrs on the phone, closed the unfunded A/c and instructed Aldermore to do what Kent Reliance seemed incapable of doing. Hugely frustrating and time consuming. Never again will I consider using them.

Disappointed with this company, after being a customer with ISA for several years, they moved my money into a savings account. Communication is poor, the website is clunky and unclear. I opened a savings accounts thinking I was opening an ISA and no one contacted me to warned me even after I messaged them to say I had open a new ISA! Some agents are good on the phone but some couldn't care less! Definitely won't be using them again
