Ken Caverns with guided tour

We loved this experience! Our guide Kye was very knowledgeable and entertaining, the caves are worth a visit ( very cool in the current heatwave so if you're a menopausal mum at the end of you tether, go,
take the kids). There is a lot of history, artefacts and finds to see on the tour. Easily accessible for able bodied, not sure about a wheel chair? Only slightly low ceilings throughout until the exit I needed to duck.
The shop was good although out of cheese!!! 😱
But the cafe was delightful, clean and tidy, excellent coffee (decaf available) and lovely food. We enjoyed the lunch we had, and the staff were a pleasure to deal with, thankyou.
Afterwards we did the woodland trail which was entertaining for us, but probably suited towards younger children rather than older teen.
I thought it value for money, especially compared to Cheddar.

Kents Cavern was a winner

We took our three grandsons to Kents Cavern and had an amazing experience. In particular our guide, Amelia was a fun presenter, enthusiastic, very informative and great with the boys. She even knew about Minecraft which particularly impressed them! Two of the boys are autistic and are sometimes sensitive to such experiences, but Amelia was very good at making them feel safe. We also enjoyed the temporary dinosaur exhibition, delicious pizzas in the cafe and a fun Woodland Trail.

Kents Cavern. Worth visiting 👍🏽

Very exciting cave and alive and good telling from Alex ( Amy) 🤣. Fairly prizes and a place to go visiting the south of Britain 👍🏽.

Good and very hot pepperoni pizza. 🇩🇰❤️
