Faulty dishwasher

My dishwasher, which was purchased in September 2023 isn't cleaning properly. I've had constant issues with getting this sorted. A repair was booked via Curry's - my wife waited in all day (losing a day's pay) and they didn't show. They phoned 4 days later to say they'd pre-ordered a part based on the assumption it was a heating element. They turned up and fitted a heating element but it's still not washing properly. I was surprised they didn't do more of an investigation as I'm hardly qualified to judge what the washer needs - I guessed it was a heating element but would have thought this would need investigating by an expert. Still have no working dishwasher - phone Curry's and they just tell me to ring Kenwood and vice versa. I bought it from Curry's - it's your responsibility to sort. I've spent so much time on the phone and twitter. Big companies have no regards for individuals or the impact it might have on one's mental well-being. I have a four month old at home, first baby, this is the last thing I should be trying to sort. Especially as it's only a few months old.

Don't buy a Kenwood fridge

I bought a kenwood fridge and freezer and wish I hadn't. My Samsung fridge freezer is 20yrs old and still works better. My kenwood fridge has been 'fixed' about 4 times and still doesn't work. It has never worked properly. It seems to have had 1 temperature the whole time and now it has just given up apart from an alarm going off. The freezer seems to have gone now too. Not sure if it is a problem with the doors.

Kenwood has been my trusted friend in…

Kenwood has been my trusted friend in the kitchen for almost 40 years but my newest appliance makes me curse every time I make a dough. WHY have you saved the little square at the end of the hook? It takes three times as long to knead the dough and with just as many stops to scrape the sides. Environmentally it’s also a bad idea.

Multimedia navigation unit DDX9020DABS with Carplay

Device does not operate reliably or consistently for wired mirroring of iPhone.
Support from the manufacturer is contradictory, defensive and dismissive.
Manual is too brief and does not make sense in some instances.
Retail supplier is critical and does not support some of the claims of manufacturer.
Device does not work in my building's car park.
Manual does not clearly state there may be issues with some features.
Completely regret my purchase and should have stuck with the original brand I liked.
If I could get a refund and replace the unit with. competitor brand I would do it, however that will cost me.
For the level of investment, these units are expensive, the manufacturer does not appear sufficiently concerned about my issues and the low opinion I have of their product, support, service and brand.
Never again Kenwood.

Bad experience with the kitchen…

Bad experience with the kitchen appliance. Something went wrong inside the device. When I tried to open it I must destroy the case. Inside I found very cheap motor "made in china". New motor cant be ordered to fix it. Its rubbish product. Now I preffered another brand of kitchen helpers. NEVER KENWOOD.

Very bad experience with Kenwood

Very bad experience with Kenwood. I bought Invertor Glow 1.5 AC and it stopped functioning just after two and a half years. The customer service experience is the worst. There is a big disconnect between the company and the third party customer service centers. The prices of parts are not consistent anyone can ask for any price. No one has proper information and no one has control over it. And if you have to replace a part you have to pay in advance. What kind of brand does this?

Really disappointed with Kenwood products and customer service. Still a story of Kenwood blender for some other time. I have decided to never buy any Kenwood product ever again.

Just me boycotting them might not make any difference but I can the first drop anyway!

Died after 2 months

I installed the kenwood head unit, it worked fine for 2 months. Then the screen stopped to turn on, and now only the leds from the buttons around the display light up, radio doesn't work, had to plug my old one back in. Waste of money, don't recommend.

Not as it seems

I order a Kenwood head unit+ HD Rear View Camera package from Amazon, but when I received it and opened, there was no rear camera to be found. I contacted Amazon customer service, and they sent me a rear camera. However, it’s very glitchy and has a poor quality view. The head unit USB port connects is not Android friendly. You have to buy the antenna separately. The sound quality is not as good as my factory radio in my challenger.

No Support From Kenwood

I was so excited to install a Kenwood DPX792BH stereo in my car. It wowed me at first. But when I ran into a problem, I learned that their support is nonexistent. With "PANDORA" painted on the face of the radio, you would expect Pandora to work well, but it doesn't. It worked fine at first, but soon got stuck in a mode where it only shows "READING", "CONNECT ERROR", or "CHECK DEVICE". I contacted Kenwood about the issue and they pointed the finger at Pandora. I contacted Pandora and they pointed the finger at Kenwood. Since doing a paperclip-assisted hard reset on the stereo temporarily fixes the problem, I blame Kenwood.
