I frequently use it, I’ve found the cashback doesn’t take too long to be cleared and funds are transferred automatically when they reach a certain value which is a really good feature. I use this and topcashback so I check which has the best offer and use accordingly. Topcashback takes forever to clear funds!

I’ve been using this for years, doing a lot of my online shopping through the portal. As long as you remember that some rates of cashback listed are for new users, not established ones, there shouldn’t be any problems. My daughter’s Child Trust Fund was changed to a Junior ISA when the government closed its savings scheme after a few years - the transfer was seamless and I still get a pretty good amount of cashback each year, even though I only use a fraction of the retailers on the site. I also like that you can link other family members’ cards to your child if they want to help out - it’s a really painless way to be able to add to your child’s savings.

Always so grateful that I'm able to save money for my boys from my regular shopping. Kidstart is so easy to use.

I love the idea behind KidStart and indeed it earns my children a little money. I didn’t give it 5 star as it could be better embedded on the shopping platform, I often realised in retrospect I could have earned cashback but didn’t use the correct link. It works beautifully with Octopus my energy provider for example as it works automatically!

I love using the KidStart app to gain money for nothing. The funds do take time to come through but this is fine as they go into my child’s saving account that she won’t access for a few years. I like the emails that tell you about the specific offers now and again. I’m just annoyed with myself when I forget to check and use the service when I am shopping online. The app would be even better If this could be used when shopping in actual stores, as the feature allows but no stores are in this section of the app.

I am trying everything to login to both my account kidstart and beanstalk.i put forgot my password and sent me a temporary password which I put in and not accepting my email and same email they use to sent me a new password and advert. On beanstalk my account was locked and ask me to contact them. Have been sending an email since yesterday nothing. No response and no phone number to contact them now.

Very disappointed in the operation of this site. I originally joined in 2018 and, as far as I was aware, everything went well, receiving regular statements. Earlier this year I discovered that they had made some "amendments" to their operation in late 2020 but neglected to inform me and therefore all my subsequent "click-throughs" went directly into the ether and I was completely unaware. Having spent hours, collating and resubmitting my most recent purchases for approval, because of course, anything older than six months doesn't count (!), I've been dismissed with "we have no tracking issues with this supplier". That's it! I'm off to another cashback site now. My one star applies to the first two years - subsequently I wouldn't have given them any stars!

I've been using Kidstart for approx 10 years. I've found its a brilliant way to save for my kids and their school with little effort. The grandparents are also linked up, however they do forget to use it quite often. Every £1 helps and it soon added up to £££s. I do always make sure I click through the link and then do not leave that page otherwise you risk not getting the % back. It does sometimes take a month or so for the retailer to confirm and to get it in the kiddybank, however we just forget it's racking up and enjoy the surprise every so often when the kids get it in their actual bank accounts. The retail offers do change, so we are in the habit of checking on Kidstart before we buy. Alternatively, download their plugin for automatic reminder.

I used kidstart to buy a new tv and sound bar as their website showed me that I would get 4% back, after the transaction tracked, it only showed 3%, I had to contact them and their customer service was adamant everything was correct, after I showed them my screenshots of their website when I place the offer, the issue had to be raised with their HQ. ultimately they did honour their 4% but deducted 20% for VAT which at no point was advertised or made me aware on their website. I still had to wait 7 months to receive that money. unhappy with the service

Really slow returns.

Have been waiting over 9months for funds to clear and have not made no progress even offer chasing up via email with customer services.
Wish I hadn’t wasted some much time and years with KidStart. I have been with another cashback service and have made over £100 in less than one year which had also cleared.

Handy little service to earn cashback on purchases.

Managed to build up some savings for my son using this, on purchases I was planning to make anyway. Every little helps 😊

It works for me for most offers but (for months now), never for Sainsbury's. They sort it out quick enough when I chase them up but it involves filling in the form for each missing transaction and despite their advice, I just can't seem to get it to track automatically. So watch out!

Great idea, easy to use when you ready the instructions properly. Obviously not all retailers are listed but a wide variety, I can always find someone my favourite. Good feeling to save money for my son, it's not a fortune but as he is a baby it's a good start. I just open his saving account too and linked it to my kiddybank awaiting for the first transfer. Really happy about that

Great idea - works really well as long as you read the Ts and Cs which vary for each retailer. Great customer support.
