I placed an order on-line for a lamp type BHL-5010-S for my JVC projector. I received an order acknowledgment by email and payment was taken from my credit card. The payment was taken by Fuse 2 Ltd in Bolton. I did not receive the item. I chased by email and left messages on their answer machine. After 4 weeks I did an internet search for Fuse 2 Ltd and Google reported the company to be permanently closed. I contacted my credit card company and requested a Section 75 refund.

Once was a good company. Does not answer your emails and does not send out the order. I got a refund and now use another company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !! I ordered a replacement bulb for a charity's SANYO projector last month - they failed to deliver & failed to respond to all efforts to contact them to find out what was happening or to arrange a refund. They have taken the money & delivered nothing - they are simply SCAMMERS !!

This company service is so poor it makes my blood boil. I ordered a replacement lamp on 24.07.23 and still no lamp or refund that has been requested 3 times. I have spoken to company and the promises are false. emails are unanswered and now they do not answer the phone or emails and no refund of £115.06. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY - THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT DELIVER THE PRODUCT EVEN AFTER 8 TRIES BY ME TO GET MY PRODUCT. IF I COULD GIVE 0 STAR I WOULD. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED SO PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM.

Website showing 10 lamps in stock - paid for next day delivery. 3 days later had to chase to be told the lamp was on back order and at least 10 days away.

Ordered a lamp for next day delivery. A week later and there was no lamp. I spoke to someone and they said that they had not sent it due to fluctuations of GBP to USD, which meant that it would now cost more, but they had it in stock. I wasn’t born yesterday so that wasn’t going to fly. Basically it sounded like he was trying to make money off the lamps and make money off trading currency fluctuations. He wasn’t going to tell me that he wasn’t sending the lamp he waited for me to get in touch with him, perhaps he was hoping I would forget and he could pocket the money. Anyway numerous phone calls and emails and I have got a part refund because he needs his accountant to top up his PayPal account, because he didn’t have the full amount in there. So he has spent my money without any intent on delivering the goods. Still £20 down.

Got messed about the first time I ordered a bulb just over 12 months ago. (Didn't last long) I had to keep ringing them to chase up my order. I got told they didn't have in stick. Probably order from Hong-Kong when you order at a massive discount to them. I actually rang them to query again the other week about another replacement bulb due to mine going again. Again they said thry had none in stock and would ring me on the Monday. Did not receive the phone call thankfully. Found bulb only without the housing and fitted it myself in the housing when my bulb arrived from another company withing a couple of days, not weeks like this company. Won't touch this company ever again.

NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I only checked out Trust Pilot after I had ordered a lamp for my projector - What a mistake !!! Like many others my experience was dreadful.
The order I had didnt turn up so contacted the seller by phone and was told the part was not in stock and he tried to upsell me to a higher proced product. I declined and to be fair to him he sent an e-mail confirming the order cancellation.

I waited for a refund - nothing. I had to go through the painful Paypal resolution process and not once did the company repsond to Paypals messages. I had to go through their final complaints process to get a refund. I assume that Paypal do this themselves vs getting the money from the company, so again this guy, I assume a sole trader has ripped off the system.

Looking at companies house this company Smart Realm limited had a recent compulsory strike off & somehow rescued it, but I doubt trading like this will save the compnay in the future having lied about product availability, treating customers appallingly and not refunding money paid.

Payment taken and that was it. No lamp, no communication, no response to emails.
Two lessons here:
1. Always pay with Paypal (thankfully I did)
2. Read Trustpilot reviews BEFORE buying (I didn't!)

I ordered a original bulb and lamp housing for an Epsom projector from this company without being aware of the poor reviews. They accepted the payment and then I heard nothing further and the order did not arrive. Having taken payment, telephone, email and messaging contact was ignored. Now in the process of trying to get a refund.

I was a bit worried when i saw all the negative reviews, but my experience was actually quite smooth. I ordered a replacement lamp for my epson projector, paid via paypal and it was delivered (late, but that was DHL's fault. At least I could track it). Lamp so far works fine an overall I'm quite happy. An electronic order confirmation would have been nice though.

Made the mistake of purchasing from KinetikLamps, and there has not been a single update on my order after 3 weeks. I feel like I've been scammed.

Bought a projector lamp only to be called to upsell a more expensive one as the one i had bought wasn't fit for purpose. I did ask why they listed it in the first place. Finally agreed to the more expensive one but they still haven't posted the bulb and won't respond to emails or phone calls. Avoid at all costs.

I purchase three products from Kinitek Lamps. They delivered one and not the others, despite asking for a refund several times they haven’t replied. They are thrives, DO NOT buy anything from this company. They owe me hundreds of pounds.

This supplier is dishonest and unreliable. I placed an order for a lamp and paid for next day delivery. I received an email to say that they do not have any stock of the cheap lamp I ordered, and that they did have stock of a more expensive version. Then I received a phone call trying to upsell me. When I explained that I had already purchased the item eleswhere, i was told over the phone that they did have the original item in stock and ready to ship! They have not refunded my payment at time of writing and have ignored my emails and request submitted on their website. Do not use this company! Would give less than 1 star if possible.

what ever you do don't order anything from this company. what a horrible experience i had with them. i ordered 3 lamps for next working day two weeks later i am still waiting for my order. you get no update at all you have to call them for an update only for them to say it be with you by the end of the week and then it doesn't come. i got so fed up of waiting i cancelled my order the suddenly they send my order out after i already ask them to cancel my order. they don't reply to your messages no contact at all. please go else where this company shouldn't even exist.

Terrible company.
The lamp i purchased made an annoying beeping sound constantly which ruined my home cinema experience. Took ages to get a reply to my emails and eventually I returned the lamp but then they didn't do anything till I chased them loads of times. They refused to give a refund and instead sent back a replacement which arrived in the same box I had sent back to them and it still beeped, it was the same lamp!
Poor quality products and shockingly bad customer service, avoid at all costs.

I stupidly did not check the rating of this company before purchase. After weeks of no delivery I finally received the lamp. It was supposed to be an original bulb with generic holder. The bulb is not original when compared to the old one. When inserted into the projector the image was far darker than the bulb I was replacing and had an orange colour down 20% of the screen on the left. Kinetic lamps will not take the bulb back or give a refund.
I finally purchase a bulb directly from Sony. It is probably 5 times as bright and no orange marks.
Beware as a fake bulb can also explode and break your projector.
Buy only an original from a registered dealer for your projector.

I took a chance to purchase a lamp for my projector through kinetic lamps without looking for reviews, after the purchase I began to look for any reviews I could find and the ones I did find were all negative, this made me think I had made a mistake and I decided to contact kinetic lamps directly, as I was concerned I may receive the wrong lamp, they then got in contact with me and informed me of a shortage of stock for the lamp I ordered, however they were able to advise me to pay extra for an original lamp, which they had in stock and posted the same day to arrive in northern Ireland the next day, once installed my projector was brought back to life with a much clearer picture, so I can safely say that I will definitely keep this company in mind when I need to purchase another lamp, whatever their issues were in the past I believe they may have ironed them out, the person I spoke to was very helpful and quite knowledgeable of the products he had in stock, don't always base a decision on other people's experiences.
