Excellent Lettings Team

I wanted to thank Mike on his hard work letting my house out. He very quickly managed to get my house on the market with professional photography. We had lots of interest in the property and ended up with a great selection of possible tenants making it hard to choose even. Mike made the process feel very easy and straight forward. I felt very supported along the way as this was the first time I had rented out my place. I really want to thank Mike and the team at Kings Estates for being so friendly and responsive!

Outstanding customer service from the team at Kings Estates

The team at Kings Estates have worked with me over some months to find a great property for me. They have been outstandingly attentive and helpful throughout the entire process and I can not fault them. Exceptional customer service at Kings…

The level of customer service at Kings is exceptional. The entire team that Mike has built up are super responsive, knowledgeable and helpful at all time.
They know the market and have just re let my two properties in Tunbridge Wells.

Very impressive indeed.

Professional, knowledgable, excellent customer service

An enormous thank you to Fiona, Melissa, Matthew, Belinda and Mike at Kings Estates. Their customer experience is second to none, every member of the team is so friendly, professional, helpful, responsive and they genuinely care about the clients they work with. Throughout my tenancy the team were always happy to help and no question I asked was left unanswered and I always felt reassured that the team had both mine and my landlady’s best interest at heart. The team at Kings Estates really are a prime example of exemplar service within the estate agency and lettings industry.
I look forward to working with them again in the future as they will absolutely be my first choice for any estate agency/letting needs.

Missed out on viewing and were never contacted.

I phoned to express interest in a property I had seen for rent; the property had been put online that day (presumably at 9am when the workday started) and I called around 10am. I was told they weren’t arranging viewings yet but I had been put on the list and they would call me when they were.

I had heard nothing by the next Tuesday so called again, and was told the same thing; they weren’t arranging viewings yet but they would call me when they were.

My partner then called the next Monday after we’d still heard nothing as we had to find a place to live and wanted to see this property. She was told that viewings had been conducted the previous Thursday and they weren’t considering any more applicants.

We asked why we were not called for a viewing (despite being likely the first people to express interest) and were given various excuses:

- Apparently we’d said we could only do Fridays (we hadn’t) so they hadn’t contacted us.
- They had a long list of interest and couldn’t fit everybody in (even though we called as soon as the property was online).
- It was human error and we’d been missed out (only given this excuse after they’d tried the first two and contradicted themselves).

So we missed out on this property due to pure incompetence and assumption, but to be honest I’ve seen lots of bad reviews so this is probably a good thing.

I won’t consider renting or buying through King’s Estates in the future, as I’ve wasted enough time on the phone to them.

*edit after reading reply - I really didn’t need that whole explanation, since you admitted yourself that yes, you should have contacted us rather than assuming (wrongly, since we told you we could be flexible and never stated we could only do Fridays or Saturdays). At the very least you should have told us you’d arranged viewings when we called back on Tuesday, if you had arranged them the previous Saturday. Also, having called as I stated, at 10am on the Friday, I don’t believe we were not one of the first so your ‘first-come first-served’ protocol was not used. I understand that errors happen but they can only be corrected through feedback and this was my experience.

We're genuinely sorry to hear about the frustration you experienced during your interaction with us.

I'd like to take a moment to clarify the situation regarding your viewing appointment. When you initially reached out to us on Friday, April 19th, the property you expressed interest in garnered significant attention, particularly on that very day, with over 30 inquiries flooding in. Unfortunately, at that juncture, we hadn't finalised a viewing schedule with the tenant. It wasn't until later in the day that we managed to secure a slot for viewings, specifically on Wednesday, April 24th.

Upon receiving your call, we took note of your availability preferences for viewings, understanding that you reside in London, and suggested ‘Friday, April 26th, or Saturdays’ as suitable options for you. We were not aware that Wednesday, April 24th, would be feasible for you due to your work commitments and living in London, so please accept our apologies for any confusion on that matter. In hindsight, we should have called to check if you could fit into Wednesday’s slot so we do apologise this was overlooked due to our understanding that Wednesday was not a possibility.

However, as events unfolded, we faced challenges as many applicants were unable to attend viewings on the initially scheduled Wednesday, April 24th. We were particularly sensitive to the logistical challenges posed by your location in London and were hopeful to secure another viewing slot to accommodate you and others interested in seeing the property. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we were unable to accommodate your request for an alternative viewing date within the initial slot due to the overwhelming demand and constraints of aligning with the current occupant's access preferences. We did make an effort to secure an additional viewing date with the tenants. However, following the initial round of viewings, we received multiple applications, and the landlord deemed further viewings unnecessary as they were satisfied with the pool of applicants.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please understand that in the realm of lettings, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and unfortunately, due to logistical constraints, with our initial understand of you not being able to view on Wednesday, April 24th, the property went under offer (subject to references).

Once again, we apologise for not being able to accommodate your request.
