Awful company

Awful company - moved me into a property with three utter bullies and was offered no support or advice on how to handle this. I was also not given a fair chance to renew my tenancy, despite several complaints on my treatment. I also had a parcel accidentally delivered to the property to which the same girls took it upon themselves to throw it in the bin! When I spoke to Kingsdown on this, they offered no apology whatsoever. Be very careful to ensure you have good roommates before renting with these guys as they have no empathy whatsoever.

They raise the rent an unreasonable amount and the cleaners don't show up often

They raised the rent by over 10%, and were completely uncompromising with contract negotiations in spite of the cost of living crisis.

Cleaning is 'provided by Kingsdown residential for free' which means that if the cleaners don't show up (they often did not) then you have no legal basis on which to complain, however once you've ended your tenancy, they try to charge you £50 to clean the room anyway.

Property manager made little effort to deal with problematic tenants. The only time they were ever cooperative was when they were asking you to pay them more money.

The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the process of viewing and applying for the tenancy was easy.
