A dreadful company. The way the company operates is they supply you the material and as soon as they find you a fitter they then don't want anything to do with you. The issue then comes if the fitter is flakey, you are basically buggered as you can't return the product and you are at the whim of a fitter, who only gives a first name and a number (not business details, no last name, no information to chase up the fitter). I would avoid this company because they don't believe in after sale support nor will they try. They will say the contract is between you and the fitter and they can't do anything even though they send the project to a group of subcontractors and you have no idea who these people are or if they are even qualified (you only have a first name and a phone number). Do not go with this company (especially as the price isn't actually that much cheaper when you account for fitting costs)

I contacted Discount worktop store for a recycled glass worktop (Apollo). Email responses were very slow but managed to get a price ~£800. Had a call with Laurence regarding some technical questions which went well. After this I spent over a week with slow communications when I decided to pick up the phone to progress things. I was told to expect a call back but a day later received another email! At this point I was simply trying to place the order and was truly frustrated! I started my search again and found buy-kitchen-worktops. within 3hrs I had online chat, a phone call, a quote that was £90 cheaper and my order confirmation.

Final straw was when I was contacted by Laurence chasing the order. I decided to give some honest feedback as I though he had done a good job and it was a shame for him to lose the order. The response I received has led me to post this review.

This is a balance review of my experience with Discountworktopstore that could have been a lot more of a rant!!!!
