DO NOT LET KN INSTALL AN UNDERGROUND…

DO NOT LET KN INSTALL AN UNDERGROUND FIBRE BROADBAND SERVICE FOR YOU! Their service is substandard and not in accordance with NBI guidelines. They lay the cable an inch below the surface only in a anti rodent conduit. Sometimes they just lay the cable on the ground. The cable is supposed to be protected by a proper duct and buried 450mm below the surface. You could easily snag that cable just planting a shrub! How much will it cost you to get it repaired as you will have to lay a new cable (as splicing fibre is not recommended). NBI only provide lip service. If you ask KN to install as per NBI standards, they will say they don't provide that service and then tell the service provider that you would not accept the service. The service provider will then cancel your order. NBI will then not speak to you as there is no order on record. You just go round in circles! There is no supervision of KN work as far as I can see.

Damaged Property

Called Circet Ireland 8 times, no answer, emailed twice; no answer. I was never introduced to the lads who installed fibre at my house; and they caused hundreds of euro of damage by dragging the old wires across the roof and bonnet of 2 of my cars absolutely destroying them. They knew I was there, they could've asked me to move them, but they didn't. They didn't tell me of the damage, and I didn't notice immediately because why would I be looking for damage done to my cars when fibre was being installed.

The issue has not been resolved and is not being taken seriously. Absolute disgrace of a company, disgraceful customer service (not that it even exists) and while they actually did a clean job inside the house and the fibre works fantastically, it does NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES allow them to cause damage to my cars.

3 fully grown men there, not a single one man enough to own up to their mistakes and correct their wrongdoing. So, for anyone getting fibre installed, make sure you don't park your cars on your property because they'll make a dogs of them and won't pay for the damages.

Openreach use this company to install broadband

Openreach use this company to sub contract broadband installations .. they drilled a hole in the wall and hit my water pipe.. the repair job has been shoddy.. and it's still not right 8 months later .. they tell openreach they can't get hold of me which is a lie, so they don't have to fix the problem.

Damage to property/ no way to actually…

Damage to property/ no way to actually get a hold of anyone, I even went to their yard just to try and obtain a contract number (even that was difficult to get) I have spoken with them 2 times and been promised call backs that never happen.

Open reach can barley get in touch with the right department ( although I do think they should take ownership since they sub contract them) this has been going on for about 10 weeks and I’m no further forward. Open reach have handed over all the public liability information and pictures. KN group and even lied when responding to a email from Openreach saying they spoke to me on the 28th of stand that I was happy 16/08 and that’s a lie as I never spoke to anyone.

Shocking service / damaged property

Shocking service, had bad fibre install damaging my property. 2 decorators quotes obtained ( one by them ) both circa £800. The one they sent they asked him to do a cheap repair which he refused. They have now offered me £200. Beware as it shows im not alone in their shoddy workmanship.

Now that my blood pressure has come…

Now that my blood pressure has come back to normal after a bad day Friday dealing with the kn group and cirnet I’m writing another review I was joining sky fibre broadband last year and received my sky broadband box on time it was then 4 weeks for kn group to call to install the fibre broadband everything was fine till he seen he had to go up a pole to connect it 2 mins later he was back in the house and said he can’t do it because there was IVY on the pole and won’t do it because of health and safety and next min he was in his van and gone I had to cancel sky and went back to virgin media again or I would have had no broadband last Friday I decided to go with eir and leave virgin everything fine got the box got a text to say engineer would be here between 9 and 12 Friday morning 12/10 still no one here no text no phone call I had to ring openeir they said they would get engineer to ring me he rang and said he was on another job and would be here as soon possible 14/30 he arrived I’m waiting since 9am for him he came in staring at his I pad walking around looked up at pole again went next door no one there came back here said he can’t do it because no one next door and into his van and off he went the funny thing about it it was the same guy that was here last year that wouldn’t do it because of IVY I actually believe he dosnt want to do anything and has every excuse you can think of and it’s a big laugh for him disgrace it is I had to then ring eir I cancelled the order and had to go back to virgin again or I would have no broadband again this is twice now the same fellow was here and he’s a joke wouldn’t want to happen to his own broadband kn group a joke

Incompetent

Avoid this company at all cost.

They want to install a electric smart meter in my home which I do not want. Phoned to halt the process and met with total incompetence and bad mannered call center staff

Car damaged

My car was stationary in a car park when an employee who was on a job over 2 months ago smashed into it ,, he promised to pay the damage, then said the company would pay for it,, but has just ignored my messages and slammed the phone down on me!!!!!!!!!!! Very dissapointing circet!!!

Circet - chaos!

Circet have been working in our village for some weeks. This has meant roads being declared closed on signs when they actually haven't been or they've been closed unnecessarily. Currently, my street is going to be closed for over two weeks! It's a dead-end road so anyone at the far end will be trapped there. I've just tried at least ten times to ring the number on the sign - but nobody answers.

Random call from person reportedly from Circet
.. wanted to see poll in garden re Broadband. No ID. Did not introduce himself. We did not request a call.
Possible scam. Even if it is legitimate their communication is very poor & unprofessional.

A Bunch of Fools

A bunch of fools, they have consistenly dropped the ball. I have to take another day off because whoever laid my new cables installed them so badly they had to be installed again. Seriously these boys should be investigated.

Only giving it 1 because I can give it…

Only giving it 1 because I can give it zero. Kn Circet were to install my Virgin media broadband. As of today, I have been given 5 appointments, all of which were no shows. Awful communication from engineers, very little explanation from appointment section , and even though I explained how difficult it was for me to get time off and be at the house for a 4 hour window, there wasn’t a hint of being given a definite confirmation that someone would turn up. No one has rang me back to explain what’s happened. I’m canceling my order as a result. Avoid them at all costs, I’d get better service from my 2 year old.

This is a real case of "I wish I could…

This is a real case of "I wish I could give zero stars".
Due a broadband installation, but no show, despite having taken day off work, 2 phone calls, and multiple texts from KN Circet. The worst part was trying to find out what happened and reschedule. After ringing customer service, to find out what happened, and reschedule, was told, sorry, don't know why, we will call you back. Got a call from technician, who was more than 100 miles away on another job, to tell me he was notified of my install 15 mins earlier, and obviously it now wasn't going to take place. I called customer service back, to be told the technician was on his way.!! Absolutely clueless. Liars, wasters, imbeciles. Avoid, avoid, avoid, and NBI, you really should be looking for a new partner. These guys are an embarrassment to be associated with.

Possibly the worst company in Ireland .

I have had a total of over 8 different employees from this company visit my house on more than 5 occasions. Each visit necessitated me being present on the premises.
They seem to specialise in arriving in vans and wandering around the property with iPads before telling me what they can’t do!! I have been waiting many months to have my broadband installed.
I understand the CEO of the company enjoys rallying. He would be better employed getting his own ass in gear, read the reviews and do something to improve the service. A totally incompetent company.

KN Circe & My Vodafone fibre orde

My Vodafone fibre order/installation was due to happen today. Took a days leave to wait for them. They never turned up or contacted me to say why. I tried calling them, and when I eventually got through they denied any knowledge of me or my phone number. Even though they had both called me and sent me loads of text messages confirming the appointment. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
