I’ve twice reached out to customer service, and they’ve been extremely helpful. Wonderful company with lovely yarn at affordable price points!

Pathetic customer service and after sales service
They charge shipping but don't deliver to the correct address.

I just ordered 5 pattern books from Knit Picks that were on sale for between 70-90% off during their recent big sale. I am so impressed with these books that I paid a mere ~$5.00 or less each for as they are printed on very high quality paper and the cover is made from that soft, almost silicon-feeling paper. These are books that will stand up to the repeated use they will get in future years! I encourage customers not to hesitate to purchase their patterns from Knit Picks! You’ll get much more than you paid for which is a rarity these days!

I love KnitPicks. I've been a customer for years, and most of my tools and notions come from KnitPicks. I adore my interchangeable needle set. The yarns are excellent quality for the price, and they have an enormous selection. But most of all, I love their customer service! I've had a couple of needles break over the years, and most recently, my yarn swift broke. They offered to replace it at no charge, no returns or even proof necessary. I was so sure I'd have to buy a new one! I can't say enough good things about how they run their company, customer service like this isn't the norm anymore!

Shout out to Barbara H! She really came through for me!! I needed help with my yarn swift keys after they broke during a farmers market and made it impossible to wind my yarn. I also broke one of my needles out of my sets and had to get a replacement for that. She was so nice and she even remembered my predicament about the swift keys from our previous chat through the website when I called in to place my order. She was so nice and quick! I hope I'm in need of her assistance again soon because she was truly a delight to work with! Thank you again!

Great bundles of yarn

Product are fair at best. Shipping is where they lose.
Saying they are slow would be an understatement. Don't bother calling customer service because they won't be open!

Love KnitPicks! Hawthorne sock yarn my favourite. Shipping is very fast, the only slow down is the customs! I live in Canada. Have ordered many times and will definitely continue!

I ordered memento cotton yarn in fuchsia from yourselves. This yarn arrived to the UK quicker than most of the orders I make from within the UK. I can truly say that this is a beautiful yarn and so nice to knit with. I am extremely happy and best of all my mother adores the shawl I made for her with this yarn.

I ordered several skeins of yarn on 2/5/22. The order was nearly $100! The same day I ordered a single skein of the same yarn. I received the single order in 4 days!! It is now 2/20/2022 and I’m still waiting for the order. Qualified for free shipping, shipping was waived for the single skein, just had to pay tax. I will NEVER order from this company again! Customer service unavailable on the weekend. This is no way to run a business!

Great purchasing experience even during the pandemic! I knitted 2 sweaters from this yarn and both turned out beautifully. Both recipients were thrilled.

Literally. I could raise a sheep, shear it, spin the wool, dye it, and knit it up faster than I can get my order from knit picks. They use the S L O W E S T shipping method available, despite charging for shipping. Their yarn is mediocre too, so I only buy it if I need cheap.

I’ve gotten yarn I ordered from another country way faster than knit picks. I’ll order from the UK again next time. They treat their customers like we matter.

Knit Picks always 5 Stars from me from Customer Service to Delivery even during the pandemic can't be beaten.

I ordered some supplies and yarn from them around Thanksgiving, and chose free shipping because I was qualified for it. But Knit Picks uses the worst shipping partner, Pitney Bowes / Newgistics. They have been extremely slow and have already pushed back my package delivery date twice. To clarify, I am comparing them to their own delivery promise, shown on their own tracking website that Knit Picks provided, not against Amazon Prime.
And for reference, I also ordered yarn from another small knitting supply company on the same day. Their package arrived 7 days earlier than Knit Picks. I also used their free shipping, so I imagine the shipping time should be comparable.

I reached out to Knit Picks to provide some feedback regarding their shipping partner choice, and they had no kind words to say. The last straw was when their condescending customer representative (Jasmine) blamed me for not knowing which shipping partner they were using for the free shipping service. None of this info is clearly listed on the website.

I do not recommend this company and I would encourage others to not trust them with your money. Nor do I recommend any affiliated companies from this group.

Update 12/16/21: package has been in transit for 16 days now, Pitney Bowes has the packaged "departing from facility in Monroe NJ" since Dec 9th (3 hour drive from where I am). Called Knit Picks to request a refund, will update again once funds are posted to my account.

Update 12/30/21: Package arrived before the refund request was processed, so I told them to cancel the request and I may as well keep the package. Lesson learned, never order from this place again unless I want to wait 1 months for a package.

Edit: Knit Picks got back to me today and took care of the issue.

My package has not arrived, UPS says it is delayed but will not give me any other information. I emailed Knit Picks and have not heard back. At this point I just want a refund. Order #6737674

Wonderful website! Wonderful yarn!

I found exactly what I was looking for at lower shipping rate than some other places. Order came quickly and packaged very well. I will order again as the need arises!
