Excellent service! Called monday to rent from tuesday till sunday, got some options and the office called the owners for me if this was possible. Monday noon time we booked the house. Very fast replies to my mails, really good! Tuesday we arrived around 1200 and got into our house which was also excellent. House nr. 3118, fantastic fast internet, first house ever to have this. Also good size boiler, again a first after 10+ years of renting in the summer and or winter. Al in al a very very good experience!

The house in Jegum Frierland was really beautiful, great attention to detail with the furnishings and lighting, equipment etc. There was also a cafe and great play area with a large bouncing pillow and goat petting area within a short walk. It served cold beer and decent enough fast food so you could grab a quick bite - as you’d expect from a community cafe, nothing fancy but good for what it is.

The experience would have been improved by the welcome on arrival. Our kids didn’t receive the promised gift and nothing was explained to me about the running of the house (heating, wood burner, amenities in Jegum frierland & nearby) and also no initial supply of wood for the fire (although there was a locked fully stocked container of wood on the grounds of the house! )We are generally given an initial supply of wood to get started in the UK.

Also, on our last night having cleared the house of food we arrived at the cafe 30 mins before closing at 7.30 and were told it closed at 8 so we could not sit in. We then asked if we could just have something simple to take away and the staff member was quite rude and simply said ‘closed’ and told us to drive into the local town which is a ten minute drive or 45 minute walk. The shop is very poorly stocked and has nothing to make a simple meal unless you like dry pasta or rice. Poor service for a family presenting with two young kids particularly if we hadn’t had access to a car. Just beware of the opening hours!

Friendly, polite AND highly professional from booking to departure - we simply liked it very much and enjoyed a very lovely holiday.

It was a very nice time in a very cozy and clean house. Wonderful nature with a big garden. A very quiet housing.
