Ok. I'm using this device primarily for the notebook functionality. I have a smaller Kobo e reader that's my primary reading companion. I've yet to use the in book annotation feature. The notebook feature is so close to being great! When it works, it does exactly what I want it to. It's responsive and the text to type is great. Unfortunately, too frequently the device locks up. Whether it's when attempting to export a notebook to Google drive, writing thoughts down rapidly, or converting text to type, there are times the firmware just gives up and crashes. Normally being patient and waiting for the device to boot back is alright, but it's horrendous when I lose the last three paragraphs if what I just wrote. It's truly unacceptable especially when it's so hard to recreate original chain of thought. And especially troublesome when taking notes in a meeting. Hopefully the firmware becomes more stable and the Gdrive feature becomes usable in the future. It's really close to be being great, unfortunately it breaks too often. I want to recommend this product so bad as I love the concept and the basic and advanced notebook features. I just want it to work more consistently!!

Went from a 6” Kindle to this 10” Elipsa. The improvements are huge. My hand was never comfortable holding a small device for long periods. I also had to read relatively close to my face. Now I hold at a comfortable distance and it’s improved my reading.

So far, I'm very happy with this product no, problems so far. Happy with battery time, left unit on for two days reading approximately 5 hrs per day before recharging. Last even longer if I turn unit off when not using. Love the size of reader, since the other ones I have are 6 and7 inch screens, which are great to take to appts so you are not bored by sitting and waiting this makes the time fly by,

The screen is wonderful for reading, didn't have any qualms with the lower PPI, and note taking is nice too, albeit with frequent crashes. The lack of a warm light really is a bother though, I rarely use it since it hurts my eyes. Same with having no physical buttons, quite inconvenient The software is up to date which is great, with my favorite feature of jumping back to pages when navigating, and auto rotate
