I like the Kobo Clara BW's minimal learning curve, my ability to connect to Overdrive right from the device, and the ease of sideloading ebooks from my laptop to the reader using Calibre. Another really nice feature is "Natural Light" for reducing blue light for nighttime reading.

Love my Kobo Clara BW Reader—it's like a mature Am*zon K*ndle that natively supports EPUB format and doesn't have any ads! Well-built device with a very good screen, and is very responsive. Plenty of storage and battery life is very good. I paid full price, so wasn't a great deal, but still competitively priced (I definitely did my research). Highly recommended!

Needed to update my old Kobo as it died. This one is much better, the on/off button on the back much easier to deal with than the fiddly little control on the old one. Also love that it will just go to sleep instead of switching off completely if you leave it.

The Clara was the perfect fit for me. My original device (Sony E-reader) no longer was supported, and I wanted to retain the smaller screen footprint and ready availability to my 200+ books. I have barely scratched the surface with storage so there is plenty room to add more books as I go forward. The screen depicts clean script and the adjustable lighting works very well.

This is my first eReader device and I’m very happy with it. I haven’t read this much in such a long time. I love being able to take notes, see statistics, and save a list of vocabulary words. I also love being able to purchase my own books as well as check out books from my local library. I hope to use my Kobo for as long as I can.
