Rented a car that already had a chip in the windshield at pickup. During normal driving in Iceland, it developed into a crack, and I was charged €1035 for a full replacement.
Unreasonable to rent out a damaged windshield and then hold the customer fully responsible when it worsens. Poor and unfair handling of the case.
We rented a camper van for two for a week. The vehicle is great and so is the country. However, the customer service is more than unreliable. There is little friendliness and even less empathy or understanding. They speak quickly, don't want to discuss the details of the rental contracts, and even two months later, they still haven't returned our deposit. Rent elsewhere if you can.
