Very quick delivery to Amsterdam. Arrived fast and in great condition. I sent a question over email and customer service responded within a few hours and multiple times within the same-day. It was a great experience, very friendly, very helpful - will shop here again.

I have ordered a product and clearly selected the wrapping paper because I wanted to offer it as a gift. I selected that I wanted it and also the type of paper I wanted. To my disappointment it came without the free wrapping that I selected. I sent an email to customer service and they say “De optie inpakken met het door u gekozen dessin is niet doorgekomen bij uw bestelling.”
Very convenient reason not to offer the free service…

This is the second time I order from them and the second time I get disappointed. The first time I could choose the product to be delivered the next day, only to find out by email (after I paid, of course), that it would only be available in 2 months, and not directly, as written in the website. So I cancelled the order.
I think they should be embarrassed to offer this kind of bad service when they are supposedly “bij koninklijke beschikking hofleverancier”

Bought a set of 2 glasses which were claimed to be dishwasher safe. Used them twice and washed in dishwasher and then found that 1 glass was chipped at the top edge. Wrote to Kookwinkel who informed me twice that “dishwasher safe” does not include the glass actually being put in the dishwasher, and that it should be expected for a glass to break if it is physically put in a dishwasher next to other glasses. They offered to refund 1 glass rather than replace the set that I’d bought. It is staggering to me that the price of a few euro for the second glass is more valuable to them than providing good customer service. Staff were at least polite in their communication but their reasoning was flawed.

Just bought a couple of 'unbreakable' glasses. Unfortunately one of them was delivered with a crack, but this was resolved very adequately, no questions asked. Perfect service!

Bought a bundt pan which supposed to come with the product packaging. Got the pan but no packaging. Ordered 2 other bundt pans from 2 other webshops, came completely with the product packaging. This product packaging is quite important, it tells you about the warranty, the capacity and came with a recipe. No more buying here.

I ordered a set of Nogent Classic steak knives on April 18th. At the time of ordering it said they were in stock. Immediately after paying I received an email that they were back ordered for 4 to 6 weeks. This was inconvenient but not a big deal so I waited. 4 weeks, 6 weeks, then 8. On June 17th I wrote and asked about the status of the knives and requested a refund if they were still unavailable. There was no response from a person but I did get an automated notice on June 18th that they were shipping.

I received the knives today on the 19th. They were packed poorly, thrown together in paper. It was not a "set", it was 6 knives with a large price sticker on each one. 5 on the blades where it is incredibly hard to remove (and the adhesive is so far up I cannot successfully soak the metal without also soaking part of the wooden handle). The 6th knife had its unnecessary sticker on the handle where it came off easily. Hooray! But no, it was covering OLDENHOF in large ugly silver letters. So one knife of the advertised set does not match the others. It was not pictured or described this way. It is very ugly. I am very disappointed and will never buy from there again and will tell anyone looking for a kitchen store to steer clear.

Oh, and they were also dirty. Not with food, but what looked like dirt and grime. Now I have to continue scrubbing off adhesive. I'm giving 2 stars because I guess I got most of what I ordered eventually.

I bought a Solis juicer for almost €200. It doesn't work. I sent it for repair. It still doesn't work. Their service is AWFUL. Delivery was plannef between 10 and 12 and happened at 16.15.

My recommendation: stick to CoolBlue, which provides and EXCELLENT SERVICE.
