KPN review

I put one star because I cannot put a 0. KPN is by far the worst telephone company in the Netherlands. I have been trying to cancel my contract since June and I keep calling them every week and no one knows what to do. They keep sending me invoices after they said it was cancelled and last week I got an invoice for €200 even though they said it would be free of charge. When I emailed them a complaint, I didn’t receive any reply. Do not choose them!!!

They were coming to my house to fix the…

They were coming to my house to fix the glasvezel today. But they cannot because of "capacity issues" and now the appointment is postponed not 1 day, 2 days but one week. I will not recommend anyone this company for Internet. In the age of the internet, we are being left internetless because of "capacity issues". Very sad.

Finally

Finally, after a week of desperately trying to get my connection via KPN, they managed to figure out that there was a KPN point 750 meters from home. I waited 3 days for a package where only the cables arrived because someone hadn't registered or for the router to be returned or for a change of residence. EXCEPTIONAL AMATEURS AND A COMPANY OF THIS CALIBER CANNOT AFFORD TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. AS IF THEY WERE TRAPS DEAR SCAMMERS, MY CONTRACT EXPIRES IN TWO MONTHS, I WILL NOT RENEW YOU

Worst internet service ever all they…

Worst internet service ever all they care about is money they don’t care about the customer make him pay, took a broadband from them wanted to cancel in the first 14 days so I did they also told me that it will be cancelled they didn’t cancel it and I was taking so long that when we sorted the case I have to pay a fee of 500£ insane didn’t even have a single use of the WiFi worst customer service I have gotten avoid with a big step no point wasting your money

no business ethics at all

this is a company without any business ethics. I received a wrong contract but called them to corrected it. now i received invoice that is still with wrong amount. nothing is corrected. now they don't admit what they agreed during the call. I call this kind of company a lier

Deceitful company

Deceitful company. I went to a kpn shop in Delft and specifically asked the employee for subscription for mobile internet for 1 month ONLY. Now, I discovered that the subscription went on even if I wasn’t using that. It is literally impossible to solve this by email but only with phone calls which I could not do since I was on vacation outside Europe. It is ridiculous that enriching the subscription is always possible, fast and easy to do online or on the app but closing the contract is impossible and unclear and can be done only passing through phone calls. This is clearly done with deceiving purposes. Never again

Worst customer service and process

I ordered a phone from them 3 months ago and still have not received it. There is no mail to inform about the status. When we call them, the customer service person doesnt have any information. Everytime they will tell a date which is in the future. They say on the website that if you order phone today, you will get it tomorrow but its a lie. We were planning to switch our internet to KPN but after looking at this service we dont trust them

Subscription Cancellation

I contacted the KPN customer service via Messenger. I told them that I am sending back the equipment as I am changing the internet service provider. I asked the to ship the carton box so that I can return the equipment.

Two months later KPN continued to charge me the most subscription fees with the excuse that I should call customer service to cancel the subscription.

This should be communicated when I asked the customer service that I am changing service provider.

It looks like KPN doesn’t value its customers and try to gain through complex processes. In 2024, we should able to cancel the subscription through the portal and not calling the customer service.

MR. BURHAN FROM KPN - GREAT SERVICE

ON THE 1-10-24 A TEAM OF 2 KPN WORKERS CAME TO CONNECT FIBER OPTIC CABLE TO OUR HOUSE. THE OUTSIDE WORK AT OUR ENTRANCE / GARDEN WAS COMPLICATED AND INVOLVED SIGNIFICANT DIGGING , FOLLOWING IN DRILLING A HOLE IN EXTERNAL HOSE WALL AND THAN THE ACTUAL CONNECTION INSIDE THE HOUSE. KPN TEAM WAS SUPER EFFICIENT, TASK-SUCCESS ORIENTED (ALTHOUGH THE MANY OBSTACLES) , AND ABOVE ALL SERVICEABLE. COMMUNICATION WITH US, THE CUSTOMER , SPECIALLY IN LIGHT OF THIS STRESSFUL INSTALLATION, WAS TRANSPARENT, VERY RESPECTFUL AND KIND. WE HAVE ONLY ONE OF THE TWO NAMES OF THE 2 PERSONS TEAM MR. BURHAN. WE THANK HIM AND HIS COWORKER AND WE HIGHLY APPRECIATE THEIR PROFESSIONALITY.

zero star if I could

zero star if I could. absolutely shambolic, disorganized company. Many calls in the course of 6 months to sort out an internet connection issue which they never logged or addressed. Their customer services reps are incompetent, untrained and in some cases downright disrespectful. I was even contacted by some rep (the only time I was called back....) after I left a negative feedback on a satisfaction survey, only to be told i was wrong to rate negatively and should change it ! I also heard on multiple occasions that 'it's not KPN problem'. Since I am a KPN customer I would expect some support from KPN customer support but apparently they disagree. Needless to say I'm switching to another provider - KPN answer is a sarcastic "hope you'll be happy with your new provider, and you will have to pay us a fine". I'm taking legal advice on this .

KPN = worst telecommunication company in Europe!

KPN is the worst telecommunication company not only in the Netherlands, but in whole Europe!
Since they play games when a customer wants to cancel a contract, I have reported them to Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) and the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the controlling authority, which takes complaints in order to investigate their poor and actually non-existing "service".

If everyone here does the same who made similar experience, there might be a slight chance that something will change.

For now, they collect the money from the customers by having customers call 5-6 times, expecting to stay > 30 minutes in their incompetent hotline. Inacceptable. Unprofessional. An example of a horrifying company, which should not be on the market anymore!

Fiber Disaster

Dear KPN,

I moved from Belgium to the Netherlands 2 weeks ago.I chose your company considering your service quality.I paid the first month in advance but due to glas issue I couldnt use your network.I have been asking engineer or technician support for 1 week.I booked 2 appointment 2 times.They did not come to my address.On Saturday , one of your call center member open a ticket for Monday or Tuesday support and he told me they would contact me but again noone called me.Ok I understand that you can only call Dutch phone number.Couple of days later.I registered my Dutch number to the system but noone called me yet for the appointment except a lady who told me someone would call me.I called your call center today and again they opened another ticket to get a call from someone.Unbelievable customer dissatisfaction story.Please just send me someone to fix my problem.

Such a poor customer service…

Such a poor customer service experience, I highly recommend you stay away from this provider. I used the overstappen service to move from Odido. I received the equipment in time for the service, but on the day of the cut over, after I received a text, I connected the equipment but there was no signal. There was no authentication with upstream connection. Turns out the connection hadn't been swapped (surprise surprise). The customer service agent said I needed a visit from a mechanic to make the swap, which was only available nearly 2 weeks away! When I signed up, it was stated there was no mechanic needed. However, they didn't even bother connecting the line, so what else do you expect?!

The worst part of the experience was the customer service. Constantly being hung up on when being put on hold and a constant blame game (i.e. it's Odido's fault, not ours). They even had a cheek of suggesting this was Odido's problem as they said Odido should move their service date with me because they (KPN) couldn't activate the line in time! I

This company is a malicious door-to-door salesman

They have tried to install fiber optic cable without my permission and even tried to make me sign a contract with them.
They even tried to get me to sign a contract.
I asked them to send me an email and they tried to get me to sign a contract on the spot.

Giving 1 star because I can't give 0

Giving 1 star because I can't give 0. I moved into a new house 1 month ago, and since then have been trying to connect the house to the optical fiber network. I chose KPN, and all I got is a total s**t show from this company. Everyday I got a new email confirming that a technician is supposed to come between 8 and 12 pm, supposed to give you a call beforehand to let you know that he's coming, and everyday, no one shows up. I spent countless hours on the phone with the "customer service", everyday they have another excuse. I just cancelled my subscription now and wish I'd done it sooner. I'll never be a KPN customer for sure, and will never make them good advertisment!
