Avoid. Untrustworthy & Menacing
This company has an Ebay account Peters3865. I'd ordered a pack of shelf support plugs 5mm. He sent me 3.5mm-4mm. I didn't even ask for a refund, just a small amount of 5mm to be sent out. He was instantly aggressive and arrogant, saying his sizes are correct and would not give any refund.
Shortly after he said any negative reviews and he will sue for defamation and lost income. I was stunned. First, all platforms must fight against fake positive reviews and must allow honest negative reviews.
Second, there are several defences against defamation, such as an honest opinion. I used a tape measure of the hole and my original plug before purchase and comparing his vs. mine, even the naked eye can see there is no comparison.
His next response was to say the photos are fake. What a joke. I offered a video call with Ebay to show the items side by side with a tape measure. Ebay's response was to be empathetic on a call and as soon as the call ended, they removed my honest, negative reviews as they only care about profits.
My Ebay review did state he was:
a) untrustworthy =>how do we trust someone who refuses to accept photo evidence
b) menacing and threatening =>this was the language used in many of his emails and threatening to sue for daring to post a negative review. I asked multiple times, why not wait until I'm home and can send photo evidence. He didn't care. He went straight for the threatening tone. So I posted a review with 5 photos that prove I am right - which Ebay then removed as he had called up saying they are fake photos, when they are not. Ebay never asked me to share my webcam as proof. I offered.
I'm disgusted with both of them.
