The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) mandates that all hospital staff complete six hours of fire and safety training once every four years, resulting in the issuance of fire certification cards by Los Angeles City Fire Department certification. This online fire safety certification is essential for compliance. The Hospital Fire & Life Safety Course is specifically designed for healthcare professionals in Los Angeles who may face fire related emergencies in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, retirement homes, and psychiatric hospitals. Upon successful completion of Blue Card Fire Training LA, participants will receive a BLUE Fire card, valid for four years, or a PINK Fire card, valid for two years. These Online Fire Safety Certification LA comply with the requirements of the Los Angeles City Fire Department’s Hospital Fire and Life Safety Program. Hospital employees must complete a six hour training session every four years and will receive a Blue Fire Certification Card Institutional Facility employees (ie: retirement homes, skilled nursing facilities & psychiatric centers) must complete a three-hour training session every two years and will receive a Pink Fire Certification Card
