It's a scam in Bucharest Airport…
It's a scam in Duty Free Bucharest Airport Otopeni, because if you want to pay cash, the exchange rate is up to the seller! Despite the price in Euro, they calculate the amout to give you back in lei as they want ! I paid 1 euro at 6.66 lei, , when the calculate at a rate of 49.97 as the bill was issued. They tell you that don't have euro for change and for the rest ! For 42 euro I gave them 50 euro, receiving the amount of 24.73 lei, what means less than 5 euro. So, they calculate the price at a exchange rate, but the rest is at another rate ! The difference is in their pocket ! I have the receipt and I can proove this with it ! Take care of this kind of scams ! And the prices are huges!
The bill could be OK, if the price diplayed was correct. But it isn't and so.....................the scam ! Even for the financial management of the shop is a disaster as long as on the bill is missing the type of cigarettes! How they know how many cigarettes from a type they sold? Or, maybe...................
Update: they recognize the fraud but only after a verification of authorythies ! Stay far from them ! It's a scam !
