Office chair delivery - waiting times awful
Ordered an office chair on Boxing Day that I had been waiting months to be back in stock. Was emailed on 05th January that chair had been dispatched. Days later nothing, several emails back and forth, chair had been damaged and unable to dispatch, offered a £10 discount on any other chair (similar to other customer experiences). Asked for refund which took almost 3 weeks to refund. Bought chair from another company that was delivered in 2 days with no issue. Lakeland are now advertising the chair I wanted saying 20+ are in stock. Would never use again. Really disappointed with customer service and having to chase for updates.

Being informed it had dispatched, then finding out it was damaged and unavailable, followed by delays with the refund and having to chase for updates, is not the level of service we aim to provide.
Stock can occasionally change due to returns or incoming deliveries, which may explain why availability was later updated on the website, but we appreciate how disappointing this would have felt given your experience.

I would Avoid Lakeland Furniture
I would Avoid Lakeland Furniture. Ordered a chair, arrive in a large box with no packaging the metal frame had damaged the chair. The wheels were different. Emailed numerous times for a return and refund. We got there in the end but lots of toing and froing, I had to ask for a personal email answering my questions rather that an automated one. The refund was slow (which I chased) and the whole order to refund took 4 weeks! Very disappointing and a waste of precious time.

The new chair bases arrived very quickly. I had communication with the customer service department to change the delivery address. They responded to the email quickly and changed the delivery address without any fuss. The bases where as advertised and of good quality.

The items I ordered were defective due to a manufacturing error however the customer services team could not have been more helpfull. The organised pickup and refunded me fully with an apology for the faulty items, they were in touch throughout the process keeping me updated with collection times etc.

Opus Carver Office Chair
Ordered the Opus Carver Office Chair Emerald Green Velvet & Gold on 26/11. Very quickly dispatched but unfortunately the wrong chair was delivered. Emailed the company and they responded very quickly. Chair collected 2/12 and a new chair was delivered by 3/12.
The chair I ordered is comfy and looks great. A lovely green colour. Would order again from this company.

Excellent company. I ordered two chairs, which were delivered within days. Unfortunately, I had to return them, no fault of the chairs; my circumstances had changed. I contacted customer service to explain, and they were super helpful. They arranged for the chairs to be collected, at a small charge. Once they received them back, the money was refunded! Unusually good customer service in this day and age.

The kitchen bar stool base I ordered was excellent, and cost little more than buying a new gas lift for my old bar stool and I simply bolted the old seat on. It was delivered promptly and courteously.

Really pleased with my Bar Stools
Really pleased with my Bar Stools - quality exceeded my expectations for the price. The bases that were delivered arrived in a damaged box that was falling apart and all wet - this was the fault of the courier though and not Lakeland but luckily they were not damaged.

Bought a chair and it arrived in two pieces which had no chance of ever fitting together. Item is extremely poorly manufactured, has been thrown together with no consideration or attention to the most basic details. Avoid at all cost.

Terrible - multiple quality issues with bar stools
Terrible - 1st delivery of velvet chelsea bar stools were sent incorrectly (the holes did not align with gas base) and had to arrange for a pick up and delivery of correct item. Second delivery, one of the chairs had quality issues (permanent marker stain, fabric has lines down it and lastly under the chair where new holes were drilled was poorly done). So now aiming for a third and final attempt. No compensation/good-will gesture shown to keep my custom, therefore I will not be recommending this company to any friends/family.
