I had a mixed experience with LambdaTek. On the positive side, their website is straightforward to use, they offer reasonable prices, and my order was delivered promptly and well-packed. Communication throughout the process was very detailed, which I appreciated. However, there were some downsides. In one case, a small issue arose with receiving UK-standard power supplies instead of European ones, though it was easily resolved by purchasing an adapter. Another concern was an instance of an order being canceled due to stock unavailability, only for the same items to appear later at a higher price—a decision that seemed questionable. Overall, while there are good aspects to their service, a few key areas left me hesitant to fully recommend them.

Purchased the 3G/4G/5G gateway I needed at a competitive price and it arrived almost before I ordered it.

This is an amazing company - Their representatives in Greece are very helpful and timely. Orders arrive always on time and undamaged !

I've known of LambdaTek for as long as I can remember, but never had a reason to order through them. It came time to purchase the Apple Pro Display XDR, but it seemed impossible to find stock or lead times anywhere else. Lambda processed the order and delivered the item within 48 hours. Faultless service from beginning to end.

Ive shopped with LambdaTEK through a business account since around 2012, more recently via my own personal account.

They advertise on their eu site:

Products on this site come from within the EU

However my order is currently stuck in customs. When I called UPS to ask why, they said the order has came from the UK and that it wasn't declared correctly so it is being held until its corrected.

I explained that to my knowledge the package as been shipped from within the eu, from lambdaTek's eu site and not the UK site. They reassured that it has been shipped from the UK via NL but origin is still UK.

I jumped on lamdateks live support, have had pretty friendly interactions with them in the past. I spoke with an agent called florent (their senior account manager apparently). In all my years I have never spoken with a more rude support person.

I informed them about the order and that its stuck in customs. They copy pasted the tracking result. I told them yes I know, thats why I called them. He said don't worry about it.

I again said, its being held by customs due to incorrect customs declaration. It would only be held if originating outside of the EU.

They then said yes its coming from the UK, to which I responded but I thought all products on the eu site are shipped from within the eu as advertised on your site. Can you confirm if there will be a customs charge please.

The response I got was a short and blunt:

For the last time no!

I said, there is no need to be rude. I think we can end this chat here as I don't feel comfortable discussing anything further with you. They then said, I don't think I was rude but okay have a nice day.

I have always believed that a company is only as good as its support. I did request a chat transcript, which was never actually emailed to me. Employees should be held accountable for their behaviour. After this I'm never shopping with them again.

First ever experience with this Lamda redundant company and it has been very, very poor.

Their website was clearly showing 4 units available stock. We placed an order for 3 and within 5 to 10 min amended that to 4 (an incremental by 1 unit).

What we received was 1 unit ...

When we asked we were told a lie that this was a back-order ... and poor excuses that they were not holding stock but were merely a re-seller. A lead time was a month.

One can order that same part from 10 other firms and still receive them sooner than a month time.

Ridiculous. Will not do future business with this jokers.

I found PC accessories here that were no longer available from any other retailer. Delivery to Germany was fast and reliable. Very good communication by email. Can recommend this retailer without reservation. Many thanks to the LambdaTek Team for the great service! :-)

Total fraudsters - do not buy from this company
I paid for a used laptop from this company but all that I received was a charger. I contacted them immediately and they said that I had not purchased a laptop which was ridiculous as their advert clearly stated that they were selling a laptop which included a charger. They sent me a receipt with details of the laptop that I had bought but still they said no. Luckily I had payment protection through Paypal and was eventually ably to get my money back. Do not trust them and do not give them your money because chances are, you won't get what you think you are buying.
I would rate this company 0 stars or less if possible

Great seller and very good customer service

I ordered over £500 of goods only to receive an email cancelling the order a few days later stating supplier had run out of stock. It seems however, that the exact same parts are for sale at over £700, now.

So the questions has to be, how can they now be selling them if their supplier doesn't have any in stock?

This was just an excuse to raise the price.

Needless to say, I'll be removing Lambda-Tek from our corporate approved suppliers list and not recommending them for the yearly IT equipment renewal which is due to start planning next month.

Last time I deal with, or recommend these lot to anyone.

Their website is easy to use and simple, and I made an order for collection. Originally I ordered with LambdaTek as they were cheaper than a few competitors.

I called up as I wanted someone to collect an order on my behal, as they are located closer to LambdaTek's office. I wished to check that would be ok.
The menu to get to someone was 4 (!) options!
I was then connected to someone in 30 - 50 seconds

As soon as I was connected they start off with 'Are you NAME', as it seems their phone system automatically matches your number with an account, so they immediately have your details
Oh, and british support! Not outsourced!

I was done with that phone call in 2 minutes!

Certainly a great experience, looking forward to ordering from them again. Thank you for priortising your customer support, it really makes a world of difference.

I appreciated the fact they only charged after having checked for the availability in their warehouse. Also no issue with any additional customs charges because of shipping to continental EU

Prompt delivery, good quality

The checkout process was straightforward and communication on delivery timescales very clear.
The product was delivered to me in the promised time and in excellent condition.

Well, two batteries were missing, type : SR527, so I couldn't work with it.
Secondly, when I got the batteries from market I paired it with instructions downloaded from internet because it came with out instructions.
Thirdly the tip is used and finally the pen does not work at all.
Genuine Box was not present, the pen came in an ordinary box.
